While it's not my favorite, the one I definitely spent the most time on was the poker and blackjack games at the tavern in King's Field Additional. If you get lucky once in awhile a gypsy shows up and if you can beat him with a flush or higher you can get 10,000G which would take about 4-5 hours to get. It's not really necessary to do this as you find most of the best equipment in the dungeons, but it does help get a wand that returns you to town which is indispensable to beating that game. King's Field Additional II is for PSP, it's still first person but it has a grid based movement system, random encounters, and the combat consists of you holding up a shield, waiting for an attack and then attacking. You don't move in combat at all, and what sucks is some enemies are flying so they can only be damaged by missile weapons or magic but you can't change them on the fly. To change equipment you have to camp and change everything that way. If you played King's Field II (King's Field 1 US) there are the Star, Moon and Sun keys that you can set in the warp altar that are similar.

No they are completely different games with their own stories and settings but they have some similar items and monsters. It's actually pretty tough, you have to grind in certain areas because the difficultly shoots through the rough exponentially with each dungeon floor or two that you go down. For example you go through two areas taking out most enemies with out much or a problem then all the sudden orcs start appearing and wreck your shit in one hit, two if you are blocking. It like it a lot actually, but it's still really hard - probably harder than Dark Souls hahaha

Best advice I can give you when it comes to tit-grabbing is: it's legitimately better when it's somebody you care about. If you have to pay them then it's ultimately an empty experience, like a wank, it won't do you much good in the long run.
As for all this stuff people are telling you about traveling, I think it's good advice but you might want to start looking locally first. Maybe join some clubs or something or pick up an extra hobby. If you really want to go abroad you might be able to find language classes or cultural groups somewhere in your area that organize trips. That'll give you people to hang out with when you go.
