Well, part of the problem is the cast isn't as lovable as Bebop's, and their pasts and strengths don't tie as much, or as well/interestingly, into the episodes or story. Plus, Aisha and Suzaku have a bit of overlap as the heavy hitter fighters, and while the fist fighting ships was neat, having fighters for Spike and Faye gave them more to do.

I still like it, though, and its basically what I want from a fantasy space RPG, save maybe the fighting ships since I have no idea how that would work.

You can get some stressful missions with musous when you get to the harder difficulties.
