Moments Like These

What are some moments in vidya where everyone cheers for the hero in his darkest hour, and where all hope is lost, and the entire cast you met during your adventure gives you the strength to fight back against the evil, and save the world once and for all. Any good examples?

Undertale's fake last boss has this.
Oh wait you wanted good examples–
Earthbound does it too.

Yeah pretty much these two come to mind

You mean every JRPG in existence? What an annoying trope.

just as bad as buzzfeed, why are you even linking to this site? use allthetropes.orain.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ItIsPronouncedTroPAY

Not exactly the same thing, and telling anyone who hasn't played it would ruin the moment but, Near: A Tomato

Who got five five's?

Every persona game

A story which needs to surprise to be effective isn't doing its job properly. It should work through spoilers or repeat viewings.

It's still good. Can you honestly say finding something behind a waterfall or any kind of exploration game would be as fun if you already knew where everything was? Or that any story is as intriguing if you already know how it ends. it I guess ruin is a bit of strong word. I should've said dampen.

Neutral ending in Akiba's Trip (the original, not the one that was translated). All the crazy characters you helped during sidequests will join you for the final battle (or you didn't do them you have to get through a massive hoard on your own to get the final boss).

I'm glad that site is word filtered, but Mark really needs to update the filter to its current URL.

Is that the game where you fight by stripping your enemies? How could they possibly censor that without censoring a lot of it? Was it a Criminal Girls situation?

Every fucking Japanese game that has existed, exists and will exist.

Drakengard?

You don't remember that scene at the end of the game where the children came together to put an end to the evil child-devouring monster?

Yes
What? The translated version of the sequel has no censorship and actually adds some stuff because XSeed is based.

It's a good trope but it's overdone, and some people don't do it right

Paper Mario did it right. Mother 3 did it right. FF2 and 4 did it right considering their time

Best example coming through.
