Why don't the jewsouled fags at mojang update minecraft with actual content? All the last updates were about lolrandum content like llamas and birbs. Those don't even drop unique items as to justify their existance. The llamas could make llama wool and the papagais drop colored plumes. They could add more diversity rather than just eight trees, more life in the sea, nether biomes, more redstone mechanisms, more plants, an use for flowers outside of dieing.
It's not like they don't have inspiration either. There are countless mods for minecraft that add more content that they could copy. The most honorific thing a modder can have is their mod being included in the vanilla game. They already did it with various mods, like snow layering and pistons.
All the updates, also, added less content than the one before.

Tell me user where are the degenerate fetish mods?
Ethan Moore
There is a moment in wich the consumer base stops growing. There are tons of modders that would be glad to work for mojang for free if their content stays in the game.
There is one that turns all the monsters into monstergirls. I don't know any that add fappable things, minecrafts models are too rough for them to be able to be used in porn.

Because they don't know what to do. Notch never had a long-term goal for the game, and the rest of Mojang have no idea what to do with what Notch left them. They don't want to change too much, because they're afraid of angering all the kids and autists who like Minecraft just the way it is. So they keep adding meaningless token elements that don't affect the main game or progression, because they're too afraid and incompetent to do anything else.
Nathaniel Hughes
Pretty much this. Minecraft started out as a building game, and then became a survival game with minor crafting and building elements. Then it became a combat and crafting game with minor survival and building aspects. Then it became a PvP game with minor everything else. Then they tried to steer it back to focusing more on building and crafting…
It's a clusterfuck. The best one can do is find a quiet server with some trusted friends, and take whatever pieces of this disjointed mess of a game, and play your own way. Because the game, itself, cannot tell you what to do.

Try to make a mod for minecraft. Seriously. If that is any indication to just how fucked up the source code is, you would understand.
It is unbelievably fucked, there's a reason that to do anything that modifies the engine ends up taking YEARS for mojang to implement. The worst part is that back when notch was the only one programming it, the code was actually better, then his friends took the object oriented programming meme to the extreme and modders followed suit. This is why when they tried to drastically overhaul the lighting engine, they had to undo all their work because of how bad it fucked up everything else. They kept saying how notch's code was like spaghetti, but that's just what OOP looks like. I don't think mojang really knows how to do anything beyond adding blocks and flowers, they've been using community made shit for so long.

I think the modders use a core mod that is called forge to better implement their own.
Isaiah Cruz
forge is just something to load and operate the mods isn't it, along with liteloader
Dominic Reyes
no user its just getting good. In fact I think its the final solution to the LOL problem. Make LOL so esoteric that any thread created that does not use our secret language gets purged.
Nolan Taylor
Since having used forge, I have a better understanding of what it is. Forge is both a mod loader, and a collection of "hooks" for any aspiring modder to use to implement their mod. A hook is essentially a re-implementation of a base class, that allows modders to add or change things without directly modifying base classes, and this is why mods haven't had compatibility issues for years. MCP is the minecraft coder's pack, what is necessary to mod at all, exposing the base classes to the modder for directly changing and modifying things. Forge is bloated from years of adding things to give others more freedom in modding, and is directly responsible for poor performance in modpacks, what most would immediately blame on a bad mod. The irony is that some of the biggest names in modding thanks to forge have called for each modder to further strain the virtual machine by splitting their mods into parts that can be added or removed on a whim, where that could be done to minecraft itself with just MCP.
Jordan Rodriguez
What other memes can be made esoteric? Further modifying english with spurdoposting and abstracting baneposting
What other solution is there for the compatibility problem?
Tyler Ross
The solution to compatibility is by completely overwriting minecraft's base classes, extracting all content and adding it back in with a native API to handle every facet, a block API, a model API, a recipe API, etc. Some mods, through forge, have done this, like the dense ores mod which allowed players to add a dense variant of any non-standard ore, and there is zero reason this cannot be done through MCP alone, and if notch would have released the fucking source like he promised before selling out, we wouldn't even need MCP to do it.
Brandon Jackson
Is it actually good?
Lincoln Walker
It is.

people still play this game?
Camden Morgan
It really is. It succeeds at both being a DQ game and a 3D block game. If there's any down side it that it's maybe a bit too structured.
Charles Evans
I haven't played autismblocks in years, since before the microshit acquisition, now I'm kinda morbidly curious about how much the game changed since then.
Julian Gutierrez
Not much. Honestly, mods haven't changed much either, though Tinker's Construct and Thaumcraft remain as standouts. If only Azanor would pull his head out of his ass and just update TC to more current, I'd be happy as a lamb going FULL WIZARD, but as it stands I have to be happy with building a literal factory.
Joseph Lee
Minecraft itself has more biomes, more doors, unbreakable boats, the most useful enchant ever (frostwalker) that lets you walk on water and completely invalidates the point of boats, more food, updated mob AI again (skeletons are now more of a pain in the dick because they actively back away from you if you approach), decorative blocks and more shrubs, you can resummon the end dragon FINALLY (although it's easier if you kill the dragon first because it drops some shit to summon it, otherwise you gotta grind for items), a sub-end dimension that can only be reached via ender peal teleport and contains more comets and boat buildings where you can find a glider (elytra, also it takes damage as you use it) protected by mobs that shoot heat seeking missiles at you filled with fairy dust that makes you float. Oh and potion tipped arrows, potion clouds that require dragon breath, potion brewing requires blaze powder as fuel now, and you can hold a shield (also melee requires timing now, you have to wait for the full cooldown animation before attacking again to do max damage, otherwise you end up spam clicking and doing 0 damage). I gave up on my forge mod because there's too many fucking hoops to jump through to get shit working.
Jose Wright
And that's where you're wrong, user. There was a huge bloody controversy years ago about how Notch "stole" the idea for potions from a mod, where the modder guy went full sperg for a long fucking time. Kikerosoft know that they're dealing with spergs, so they wouldn't dare risk something like that again.
Benjamin Richardson
Sounds like the game went to complete shit
Justin Gray
The last update was one that normalfags really like, actually. It's called "Better Together" and lets all the versions of Minecraft (except PS4, I think) play on the same servers. Plenty of pictures around of kids playing on an iPad and a Switch and such and being happy, so they're doing good for themselves, I guess. normalfags don't want content, they don't care about content.
Chase Miller
Yes, if you count from 1.7 / 1.8 All the new updates are trash. 1.9 to 1.13 were little updates that added little content. It could be excused if they fixed minecraft, but they didn't.
Alexander Baker
I really think 1.6 was where updates became completely superfluous. I entertained the thought of setting up MCP for some version like 1.4/1.5, trying the idea of compartmentalizing minecraft's various shit into APIs, which would make backporting content trivial, but I've found better things to do.

Untrue. On a server that was mostly on peaceful mode (few enderpearls to be found) I got bored and wanted my goddamn elytra already, so I just built an 800-block dirt bridge to the outer islands. Took me like 30 minutes.
Also on said server, I couldn't get good use out of frost walker because my ping is shit, so the ice forming couldn't keep up with my sprinting speed and I'd just fall into the water.
Adrian Hernandez
I forget what the portal looked like, but doesn't it spawn encased in bedrock so that you need to toss an enderpearl into it? Also I figured that would happen with frostwalker, seeing as how using boats/horses is still shit, I imagine desyncing from what you're riding still happens if you go too fast, or you fall into a world hole because THAT is still a thing.
Jack Richardson
What a complete shitshow
Jaxon Gutierrez
The portal is a 1x1 square surrounded by like a bedrock tesseract (it's also possible to fly in with elytra if you're precise), and it teleports you to a corresponding portal on one of the other islands. But those islands surround the main one (with the dragon) in the same dimension, with around 1000 tiles of void in between. It's possible, if tedious, to just bridge the gap.
My favorite thing on servers is when you go through a Nether portal and come out the other side, but snap back to the portal 5-10 times when you attempt to walk away because it hasn't loaded properly yet, and your character is lagging.
Ian Sanchez
They've been constantly adding stuff and generally updating the game.
