I've actually watched a full playthrough because it doesn't deserve even a pirate, conclusion is I was right and it's a slow ass salty Marxist QTE shit game. The only debatably better shit in this compared to the last game is the combat, everything else is trash.

Everything seems slower in this game than the last one, for example the crafting shit slows down the game which they only included because retarded crafting is all the rage in AAA. The puzzles are made slower with the fact they fucking made every solution a mini-cutscene because EVERY FUCKING TIME you have to call your buddy to help you out and press fucking QTEs whereas the previous game you did all that shit yourself and super fast. Also contrary to the previous game and to make it even slower, there's NO fucking run button in this game, it's even a tip in the loading screen like they are proud of it. Moreover this game is littered with QTEs, even more so than the last one.

Now we go to the story, frankly it's a nonsensical mess, not South Park nonsensical, actually nonsensical and it might have been done intentionally so. It was mostly OK until the final boss was revealed, then it went to utter shit. The more the story progressed from that point the less sense the game made and even the characters stopped caring about what they wanted in the first place at the end.

Finally, the themes or messages this game tries to convey to you are the worst bit of this game. The best or least worse message is that superhero cape shit is complete nonsensical garbage as of late, from movies, TV shows to comics, all the lore as well as the entire industry has gone to shit. There's also some message of how retarded SJWs are with their gender identities crap, but it's offset with how much they support Black Lives Matter, they fucking love to shit on white people in this game to an astounding degree. However the most prevalent messages in this game is the fact that Trump won the election and they are STILL FUCKING SALTY about it.

They don't so much ridicule cops, patriots, Trump voters and everything else in connection to Trump as they profoundly hate them. The rage they have towards "racists" is so large that they even bring H. P. Lovecraft into this to tell us how much they hate him for being a racist. Finally, they are so salty about Trump that the ending is a representation for how much they want to go back in time and stop Trump from winning.

TL:DR: The game is a giant hatefest against Trump, it has some messages for how cape shit is garbage right now, but the former is way more prevalent. Gameplay is SLOW and shit, story is nonsense.

This game is basically a giant well produced old school newgrounds game, which is kind of cool. Damn I wish it was 2000 - 2007, almost every day of my life.

I played this shit last night. I fucking hated it. The nucombat system was clunky and weird as hell. Your hand gets held through fucking everything. Multiple combat tutorials as if we needed more than one. I only legitimately laughed out loud only twice, and that was from the first boss fight with Kyle's cousin when he tries to do a super move but falls flat on his ass and loses the battle, and when I found out you could beat the living shit out of Cartman's cat. TSoT made me at least exhale through my nostrils, chuckle, and smile all the way through on my first time playing, but TFbW is unbearably unfunny except for a few parts.

I watched a bit of a playthrough (lots of skipping and mostly just the boss fights).
Bringing back the stereotypical jew, Kyle's cousin Kyle and the cis part, especially being harassed by rednecks for being cis, got me thinking they weren't total fuckin' pussies but then they go full FUCK DA POLICE like you said in a way that's not funny, nor nuanced and definitely not their fabled "shit on both sides".
Admittedly, the Mitch Conner thing got a giggle from me but I think it's more because of I liked the episode he appeared. IMHO they should have toned down the scale by a huge margin and keep Butters/Professor Chaos as the villain.

Side note, haven't watched the latest season. Last one was basically a glorifed #ImWithHer ad; I don't mind them rippin' on Trump, in fact I loved most of the visual humor they used, the mannerisms, the hair being placed like Vader's helmet etc but, besides that, they had no actual jokes about him, just called him incompetent while doing their best to skate around every issue surrounding Clinton other than she can't do anything without a teleprompter.

One of the recent episodes was Garrison/Trump taunting North Korea over twitter, but he's taunting them in Tweak's stead, after tweak sends them peace-offering baked goods. I thought it was pretty funny and not overtly leftist, the guy is an easy target after all. The last one I watched is setting up some TV tie-in for the game, like how they did the game of thrones storyline for the first one.

I think it is hilarious that proponents of this game keep praising "improved combat." The combat in Stick of Truth was barebones turn based mechanics. It couldn't get any simpler, just like South Park's visual style. It was perfect. Now they put in some shitty tactics style turn based system that is neither fun or interesting, but I guess is technically an "improvement" over a barebones turn based party system. The combat is literally nothing special or engaging, but hey it is an "improvement."
