Terraria, started Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (my backlog is fucked, I know) even though I also just started Ground Zeroes and I should probably get around to beating BotW at some point. Oh, and that idea to 100% Super Mario 3D World should probably be worked on, or dropped. I dunno. Gaming is an area of my life where I allow myself to be lead by my emotions (I don't "feel" like playing that today, let's try something new/novel!). I also don't get a huge accomplishment feeling when I complete a game, it usually leaves me with a bittersweet desire for a good game to continue going. Same with good fiction.
TCRS:V is watered down from the TCRS I remember, but I haven't played since 2. Still taticool fun though, and the game starts off by killing Mexican cartel/gang/terrorists, so Holla Forums fucking friendly as all get-out. The fly-over in the heli across the Vegas strip was actually still impressive for a game this old.

Ascension; I've heard people say it's better but there is an equal amount that says the original sphere of influence is better. I ended up getting both versions for 30 bucks so it's not much of a loss if they don't turn out decent

Ascension is fun, but it can be bullshit at times. Like Nobunagas area gets significantly more troops than the areas around him, as well as a lot of samurai for him to employ and make use of. On top of that, invading castles can be brutal without tunneling and cannon due to the damage that's done. In my experience it's often best to not fight the battles personally, but instead siege, as well as auto battle on the overmap, and make good use of your domain to build advantages, like increased attack with gunsmiths, alongside the requisite traits.
The biggest issue is Oda. Unless you go outta your way to fuck him over, he expands faster than anyone else and always ends up top dog.

Combat is annoying and frustrating so I haven't played it in a day or so. Why the fuck can I made a homemade shotgun before I can make an axe? I've got the axehead, all it needs is a stick and it would be done, but no for some reason that's beyond complicated. Making a slamfire shotgun out of duct tape and single metal pipe though that's incredibly easy. I don't like it when games have a crafting system and there's no logic behind what you can make and when.

It's just a 4v4 deathmatch, nothing interesting about it and like you said, way too far after release. I'm honestly not sure if I even want to play the singleplayer more either with the AI being this bad and you only having basic commands to give them.

All I wanted was some co-op operatan with lots of customization. I feel bad for anyone who paid for this game.

Yeah me too. It pisses me off because I wanted a tacticool game with no bullet-sponge enemies, where you can customize your equiment but they had to slap the game into an open world setting so you can't have the weapon you want with the attachments you want because each part is hidden on that huge map.
It's a shame because as usual with Ubisoft, they have decent people but they always do one thing wrong that will fuck up the final product. Despite the various nice environments the map is way too big and I wish it took place in Mexico (I want to bet that it was the initial idea but they were too scared of being called racists or something).

I had a chance to download the open beta for the PvP two or three weeks ago but the first time I launched it, it took ages to find enough people and then it crashed so I deleted the mode.
