It uses a regular begginer tier ubuntu installer and it only leaves you with a basic XFCE desktop and pretty much that is all, 0% bloat or other unwanted shit, you then proceed to install only the stuff you need and the result is a very low resource consuming OS without all the hassle of using advanced distros.

In fact this thing runs smooth even on a super shitty craptop that wont even run Manjaro or Mint without choking every 5 seconds.
