its a decently fleshed out game where you attempt to play FTL in first person as an individual crewman, with the rest of the crew being aspergers just like you, you either explore the galaxy and have fun adventures or instead a random crewman plays with the lights while another crewman keeps switching off life support while nobody is paying attention.

You are a member of the crew of the Star Vessel Autism, Captain, Weapons Officer, Engineer, Medic/Hacker, or Pilot. You are among four other players. You go on space adventures, docking in space stations for repairs, doing little fetch quests on planets far away, and fighting other ships. I forget whether or not multiple player crews were a thing yet. Conversely, you sit on your ship arguing about who's being forced to be captain, that captain then does everybody's job without saying a word, accepts a bunch of quests and leaves the crew on the ship when he beams down to the surface of planets, dying multiple times, again all without a word, then finally on the way back to whatever space station, he attempts to take an enemy ship and leave you all behind and complains when it doesn't work out.

It's composed entirely of fun.

To stealth-gank credits, you need to target the desired ship in the tab menu and then be outside of their sensor range.

Turning on credit siphon will put you into combat mode but if you stay outside of their sensor range they won't do shit. Works best with the stealth ship obviously.

I figured out why that happens. There is a so-called quantumshield which fails when the normal shield goes below a certain thereshold (varies per shield). The Quantumshield is the one responsible for blocking teleporters and only reactivates when your normal shield goes up to full power again.

Well with only two of us (plus bots) for most of the day, we still managed to go from bare beginnings to defeating all the major boss ships. Pretty damn good for my first command.

We figured it out, in case anyone is curious. The chaos level caps at 6, so it stops getting harder.

I guess the difficulty is mostly just random outside of the infected and other specific zones. You can run into a swarm of lightning drones that just fuck your shit up at any time, and I personally haven't even tried fighting Deathseekers, maybe they aren't so bad, but I always run since there's nothing to be gained.

Well even fighting them is all about thrusting away and killing them while they chase you.

in any case it turns out if you capture the grim cutlass, keeping both ships alive, and then save+reload another grim cutlass is spawned

Stargazer got buffed I think. It seems to have better EM sensors now and comes with WC. So you can just sit 14km out and detect enemies but they can't detect you. So you're free to infect them with all kinds of viruses and sabotage their shit.
There's also "Dark" components now including a 0 EM signature jump drive. I'd imagine with a 3 man crew and a proper set up you could have a near non-existent EM signature.
