Checked the Wikipedia list of GotY awards, and the vast majority went to The Witcher 3. Fallout 4 wasn't that common, plus a single nomiation for Rise of the Tomb Raider (by (((Good Game))) after they were co-opted by SJWs), one for Undertale and several for Bloodborne.

Surprisingly, The Witcher 3 even managed to get the Blood and Wine DLC as GotY in 2016 by a couple of places.

SKSE's version check is a one-time check at startup anyway, back when it was FNV4GB and during that era it was actually an anti-piracy check before they rebranded it. They could simply remove the check and only update SKSE when it actually needs updating, but something tells me they're still heavily anti-piracy.

They could make a 16-bit styled Skyrim JRPG, but that would take too much effort since it requires using/creating a different engine and new assets.

Lets you build your settlement using just about every asset and scrap everything in the settlement including trash decals and such so it actually looks clean and set plots for your settlers to build their own houses and businesses. Also allows you to display your weapons on boards like in the main menu and brings in a bunch of mini collectables that you can also display to make your personal home really comfy. Then enjoy having it suddenly rain radiation and get swarmed by glouls that constantly heal from the radiation and twoshot you while you can't see shit so your only way out is to shoot a flare into the air and have your power armour drop in like an orbital cannon just fired it at the earth and tear the arms and legs off everything while they desperately try to attack you with whatever few limbs they have left. Camping is also really comfy on long treks. Using the console commands you can set the time scale to 6 so you only need to eat and drink once per day and each day lasts several hours really helps survival mode as well as the mod that lets you fast travel between settlements but those are only necessary if you're playing survival mode.
None of those use the script extender so even if you're a pleb that starts steam in online mode and actually get the updates then it won't break them. My full (current) modlist in pics related. I keep adding to it as I play but it's getting really fun.

Works out pretty well, especially with the valkyrie face texture. Also, unlike New Vegas and Skyrim, which have issues with hair not showing when wearing hats or headgear, for some reason it's easier to get the hair to show under headgear in fallout 4, so it works there.

Nothing. Most of the mods on the creation club have already been created and on the nexus beforehand, like the Chinese Stealth Suit and the Hellfire Power Armor. The dude just ported them to the creation club with a slightly different tint. Bethesda doesn't care, they mostly want that PS4 money, and to a lesser extent xbone money.

Basically this. Creation club is completely irrelevant because normal mods work perfectly fine and have more/better shit. Reason enough not to give a cent but it doesn't stop modding at all.

FROST is mandatory for Fallout 4, as is something to remove the player voice.

FROST removes all NPCs/quests and replaces them with hostile scavenger factions in addition to giving the game more of a survival horror vibe. The fact that this actually makes the game significantly better is a great way to show how absolutely incompetent Bethesda's writers are.

I just don't see how they can't make a less boring solution to an obvious problem. Say you're playing a game were big commander guy tells you to go somewhere and help with the fighting, or whatever. Why not just have the warzone look a bit more organic? Why not guide the player with stuff like a trail of corpses, vehicles moving in and out of a place, maybe a big smoke trail in the sky or fucking anything other than a bucket list.

For special edition, there's miraculously an alpha version that currently sort of works, but it's supposed to be only for bugtesting and letting modders start to port their mods.
