Yay, something I didn't want to play is free now.

Fuck Sega and fuck everything Warhammer after Dawn of War 2

YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS DENUVO ON SUICIDE WATCH

DoW2 was fucking ass.

Thank god.

What about the Norsca crack though?

Different dev, asshat.

...

I can't even keep up with all these forgettable turds coming out now.

THEY CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS

Total WaWa is actually good though you niggers

it is

yes

pointless I know

never got into any Total War games, but the overall and focused strategy really seems interesting to me
what would be a good title to begin with?

I get the distinct impression that CA was using a "B team" to develop most total war games up to this point, much in the way Dark Souls 2 was not as refined as 1. It's a shame because they clearly put all their effort into Total Warhams.

They can seriously suck it with all the DLC prices though

...

Well, the WaWa team is a new one, and there's the historical team going concurrently.

But I wouldn't say that there are A team and B team since WaWa plays different than the historical titles.

I still refuse to play Total Warhammer on principle of their DLC practices. And fuck you Warhammer faggots for ruining the Total War threads with all your fantasy talk.

Medieval 2 with Stainless Steel mod, Shogun 2 and its standalone expansion, WaWa, Napoopan if you are into napoleonic warfare

I bet this hurt the company so much, how will they ever recover?

Why? Is is this Sega's jewry or GW's?
Have they announced Total War Warhammer 3 for next year yet?

They have announced the trilogy since the beginning.

And once they are released, they will release a complete edition where all games are combined into one massive game.

Its semi confirmed, i think this is pretty retarded decision too, they could have just released 2 and 3 as standalone expansions
But i guess it sells better when you announce it as a "new tittle"

The thing is, Total Warhammer is good from a sort of "objective learning" perspective because it implements all of the coolest mechanics that Total War has come up with to this point separately in historical titles. So I do indeed compare them from a game design perspective.

The thing about it that truly sucks is the siege battles. No idea why they made them so oversimplified.

I'll keep talking about Call of Warhammer until you like it.

Why what?
They announced this before the first game was even out and it makes sense.
Warhammer lore is fuckhuge and factions with some exceptions play very differently.

A second game came was coming out????

Like what?

no

DENUVO ABSOLUTELY BTFO AND YET THEY KEEP BUYING IT

Nice runglish

Holy shit you moronic niggers they said this was going to happen from the beginning and if you knew anything about Warhammer you would know that several very important factions were not even represented.

I really have no idea what you are talking about since most of the shit in Warhammer are only made for Warhammer, like the magic and heroes shit.

Who said anything about buying retard?
Did you even read the OP?

Horde factions, that was a thing they learned from Attila TW.

Where the fuck do you think we are?
I'm getting sick of these cuckchan faggots who can't read the thread or even the OP.

Hope that they'll keep cracking the DLC.

Ive never been so happy to see a company shit itself

WHERE IS THE FOOKIN' LINK MATE

I saw that they added the Skaven this time around, I hope they will be fun to play.

On any major torrent tracker site you gigantic fucking mong

Please spoon feed me.

they make easy money because every building adds to income but have a food resource you need to manage because you use it to colonize towns and low food causes unrest and you also have a loyalty rating on commanders so you need to be aggressive at all times to keep food and loyalty up

Yeah they buy it cause it looks better on marketing, like its safe till release sort of thing. HOWEVER the EU just banned a report a few days ago that clearly said that piracy does not effect sales at all.

It will be interesting at least, and broken and unbalanced (but probably still amusing) at worst. You can summon massive amounts of clan rats in the middle of battles, your settlements are hidden to everyone unless they scout with a hero, and you have to maintain a constant food economy because skaven are hypermetabolic.

Lurk more faggot

Suck my dick and pick whatever you like

Those mechanics sound neat, guess I'll go and find a torrent.

every total war after medieval 2 was shit

I got it from skidrows site, they are always up to date.

Wonder when we'll finally get a clean sweep of all games that use denuvo cracked completely. I'm not sure anyone would want to crack Monopoly just for the hell of it.

Not sure how accurate this list is but here are the games that aren't cracked yet: Fifa 16, Star Wars Battlefront, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Need for Speed, Eve: Gunjack, Edge of Nowhere, Fernbus Simulator, Damaged Core, Rocksmith 2014: Remastered, Just Dance 2017, Rockband VR, Golfzon Driving Range, Dragon Front, Handball 17, Eagle Flight, Conan Exiles, Robinson: The Journey, For Honor, Halo Wars 2, Battlezone, Lone Echo, Monopoly Plus, Fifa 18.

Then we've got South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Assassin's Creed Origins and Sonic Forces coming soon. I would like to see all Denuvo games cracked but I'm not sure from the games listed above, that anyone would care to completely destroy Denuvo fully.

just becauseā€¦ the 90s were the best

I still play medieval 2 with the lord of the rings supermod, the best strategy game EA never made.

How many GB is it? There's a 1.7 GB repack that looks suspicious.

JUST

26.5 gb my dude

here ya go

come to think of it the argument on piracy is strange. people want to argue piracy doesn't affect sales but in the same breath would encourage others to pirate and imply it would hurt sales. make up your goddamned minds already

Did he finally kill himself?

Who cares? I get my games for free and i dont give a fuck. Who cares if it is called stealing or hurts the company.

THEY ACTUALLY DID IT
THE ABSOLUTE MADMEN

RIP IN PISS DOBUNGO

Thanks a million, those fags up there link me to virus infected bullshit sites and think they are oh so clever.

Do you have any fucking idea how torrent tracker site works?
Also cmon being afraid of viruses? Are you a fucking underage?

Someone cracks the Norsca shit first.

I want to field the land viking ship.

So why is denuvo suddenly a giant piece of shit? I thought they used super sekret mathematical algorithms or some other overly complicated and bloated shit to prevent pirates from playing the game? Anyway, total war and CA can go die. Franchise is a piece of shit now. Anyone who actually played the older total war games has left the franchise and the only people that play this warhammer dogshit are kids that were born after med 2 released and retard warhammer fantasy faggots that like to choke on GW's dick.

Probably arrested for getting caught with CP again

Of all the things you hate, you fucking Warhammer Fantasy Battle, you realize fucking GW kills it right?

They didn't think that the scene still remembers how to make keygens.

Either you are strawmanning, the guy you talked to was an idiot, or you misinterpreted. Piracy is encouraged not because it hurts sales majorly but because you shouldn't support the devs for shitty practices. It's functionally the same as not buying the game and not playing it. If there are people out there who think they're sticking it to someone by pirating, they are morons.

They just used a widely available VM for adding encryption and bloat to the executable and fuck with debuggers. The reason it was harder to crack is that most doblobo games are 64bit and there were no good 64bit debuggers that could deal with the VM fuckery they implemented.

if it hurts the company then that's basically shooting yourself in the foot and killing your own hobby

i play med 2 and you know what? its not that good and aged like milk. its nice for the board game aspect but i can go play the fucking game for a week and never actually play out a battle because im too busy auto resolving 1000 vs 10 battles. you're just being a salty contrarian splitting hairs

that implys it hurts sales though, if you hate a dev for shitty practices you wouldn't play the game at all free or not.

Games can occasionally be fun even when the dev or publisher is being a cunt. It takes a lot of different people from different disciplines to make a game and they don't always see eye to eye.

Sonic really was the shit back then wasn't he? Maybe we can get someone to crack Sonic Mania. That's something I'd actually WANT to play.

Mexicanloli.jpg

Yeah what's up with that. Norsca dlc is apparently really good.

Im not hurting my hobby by starving off shitty devs, im actually helping it.

Nigger it was cracked one week after launch

I should also add that outside of this board an overwhelming majority of people who pirate are poorfag BRs and Slavs and/or people that don't have regional access to the game. People who pirate with disposable income available are relatively rare.

what are you sperging about?

people try to make a point that piracy is the worst thing in the world, like spreading cancer and giving the authors aids, people that do this are the ones behind copyright and DRM (eg, the people that make money from that without actually doing work)
but its been basically proven that piracy does not affect sales at all, it may even affect sales positively (with exception for audio/visual media)

why you ask?
specially with games, pirating something is much like a free unlimited demo, gives the player a chance to try something out and experience it
if the player likes it, its very likely that it will spread his experience, word of mouth, videos, jewtube and whatever, these are much more effective methods of spreading something than blatant advertising
on the other hand if the player didn't like it, wether it wasn't his cup of tea or whatever, it is very likely that he wouldn't buy the game either way, but having pirated it, he actually becomes part of the playerbase, kinda like this:
< the bigger the player base is, the more likely it is to get bigger, and the more likely it is to generate more sales

the reason this doesn't work a much for general media, is that basically, after you pirate a movie and see its shit, there is indeed very little reason for you not to put it aside and forget about it
but I blame it more on movies being shit lately and not on piracy
music is somewhat like that, after you illegally downloaded your music there is very little reason to buy it again, however one might argue that getting your music known is much more effective for an artist than straight sales numbers

nigger what!? Why was I not aware of this? Thanks for the heads up user.

Denuvo probably hires prostitutes for game companies to stay in business at this point.

I'm not a Warhammer faggot
So instead of paying $60 for a game you need to pay $180 for the base game with another $200 added for dlc whoring
$180 for Rome 2 and $120 for Attila and each game probably has enough variety itslef to compete with the complete Warhammer shit

...

It's OK to admit you like something user

Its an Austrian company, we keep our kids in the basement instead of hiring for prostitutes, how do you think we can afford good and free healthcare?

Yea there was something really fucked up about the blob riot style melee combat in their new engine. In warhammer they seemed to sort out the horrible issue of unit cohesion, they made artillery actually work, missile units work alot better now, and it's easier to get your units to follow your movement commands after they engage in a charge. They fixed most of the totally broken aspects of the engine they were using now the only combat modding you need are just things that please you like larger units and things like that.

Warhammer 1 sucks ass without mods.

Hold it. You have the norsca dlc?

Fitgirl is already going to release this shit in a couple of days. Feelsgoodman

What mods are recommended?

Nah I forgot about that one. that's the one DLC I want, and for some reason these niggers havent cracked it yet, or don't give a shit, I'll go with the latter.

I just want control a viking riding a mammoth. Most metal faction in the game.

he might be referring to the mods which let you settle every territory and shit like that

Already cracked nigga. Twice.

There must be something about it you like. I thought Skyrim was "good with mods" too and kept trying out different ones until I realized that the problem was that Skyrim is just dogshit all the way down.

Off the top of my head

and then some unit/texture packs. Most of the mods listed above should have been added to the game, there's even a mod to fix the building icons because the devs are a bunch of lazy cunts. Some of the really good mods like Legendary Lords are all patched to norsca so it wont work with 1.6.

day 1? nigga, this shit was cracked within ==10 hours==

It's always the most vile, disgusting people who try to virtue signal, because they feel the need to atone for their past sins
But it kinda makes me feel good about myself for not being a piece of shit like them

im ashamed

I think Warhammer 1 is decent, but I only like it because of the lore/setting. It dosen't hold a candle to Roma Surrectum or Medieval 2 though. But since I have a massive hardon for warhammer lore, I can overlook all of the bullshit and download mods to fix it.

I had the exact same experience with Skyrim. I initially played it on release like a good goy, and the only way I could get it to work was playing it in like a 800x600 window mode. I installed a fuck tons of mods for it like a 2 years later and I couldn't even make it past the first 10 minutes. The game is absolute dogshit.

tell me more, I dropped the game cause of the shitty camera angles in the overworld, made me fucking dizzy, and I heard this one has the same fucking issue.

The game is unplayable for me without at least 10 mods that basically just fix the game. Blows my mind how the game can go this long and they couldn't even fix the fucking ingame battle camera. And these dumb cunts wonder why everyone torrents their game.

Long term vets have always recommended Medieval 2, but it seems everyone agree Shogun 2 was the last high point in the series.

word this is fucking hilarious
here I was thinking I was going to have to wait a couple months to see when they crack it. Day fucking 1 HAHHAHAHHAHAAHAHAAHHAHA

Sticking it to CA for making Rome 2 a piece of shit.

Medieval 2 was great, but CA has always been a shit developer and the Total War series has never gone higher than "above average" in terms of how good the games are. The only reason they're considered good by any means is because they're the only ones of its type on the market, so there's really nothing better to compare it to. CA has always been a giant piece of shit when it came to the issue of modding, of historical accuracy and of optimisation. A couple years ago there was a project started by a handful of people that wanted to open up the modding capabilities for old RM2TW engine by getting rid of the hard limits set by CA. For example, the total number of recruitable units in Med 2 is somewhere around 300. As well as that, it would allow better optimisation of the game by allowing more performance patches by the community to be made, and for allowing really large scale battles (15,000+ on battle map without it lagging) by opening up the limits on the engine. Of course, CA couldn't stand to see people improving their products and gave the people working on it a C&D. The project is obviously now dead.

Along with this are the myriad of complaints about how

-Specific steam updates broke many, MANY mods. Ask any mod dev and they will encourage you to use a CD copy or legally obtain a copy, because CA has made it so steam deliberately fucks the process of modding up
-Ptolemaics in Rome 1 were retarded, and that CA didn't even bother to read a fucking book. Apparently CA thought that the house of Ptolemy was a direct link to the ancient Egyptians that lived in the region going back 3000BC, and not actually the Hellenic remnants of Alexanders empire.
-Criticising CA will lead you to memoryholed. Back years ago during the engine unlocking project I talked about above, several high profile modders got banned from the TW forums for simply criticising CA for shutting down the project. These were people that worked on Europa Barbarorum 1 and Rome Total Realism. I think even now (and this is a shot in the dark guess based on assumptions and the things that float around the TW forums) one of them works in an unofficial capacity on the EB2 mod. Even though he's banned from the forums, he still is involved in the development process. Underground fucking modding.

CA is a gigantic piece of shit, and I should encourage everybody that cares about the future of video game development to obtain legal copies of all the games. Just take a look at the storage you need for this hunk of shit, and this isn't even including any bloated DLC's either. By this time next year, after a bunch of DLC, blood and useless content packs that should have been in the game in the first place, I can guarantee you the game will exceed 100GB. Their steam store is one great example of what they want to do with the game, they want to turn it into an EPIC CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE WAR MOVIE. The trailers and screenshots for it are all prerendered bullshit that they've not stopped doing since Rome 2, and for some reason they're jumping onto this retarded bandwagon that I'm seeing devs do more and more where they put gifs into the descriptions. Gigantic and obnoxious awards plastered fucking EVERYWHERE, 10/10 KOTAKU 9/10 "MASTERPIECE"- International Gang of Negroids, GAME OF THE YEAR BEFORE IT WAS EVEN RELASED - Metacritic, Editors Choice Award, and as we all know PCgamer, RPS, gamespot and the like are all VERY REPUTABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY BRANCHES OF THE MOST IMPORTANT AVENUE OF HUMAN ACTIVITY - VIDEO GAME JOURNALISM. They don't want to make games, these are just bloated and shitty looking movies for kids. A 68 dollar movie in fact, not including all the DLC scenes that we're missing.

How long until retards start making 'Denuvo is needed to safe first 1 hour sales' excuse to justify its existence?

...

This, the company went to complete shit after Medieval 2. Releasing broken ass Empire was their fall. That's when all that DLC unit pack bullshit came out too. Seeing warhammer 2 getting cracked on day 1 is so satisfying. Warhammer 2 is already getting 9/10 bullshit. Have these fucking faggots even played the game in it's entirety yet. The sad part though is the game looks like nothing more than a half assed expansion pack, and all these dumbfuck normalfags are gonna mop it up.

SEGA/Actikike/CA can all go fuck themselves.

Wow such an informative readme.

The human eye can't see a crack beyond 10 minutes of release anyway.

That's really bizzarre because I fucking hated shogun 2(small campaign map no faction diversity, combat moves way too fast, underwhelming cavalry, melees turn into blobs)

I thought it had all the same problems that rome 2 had but much less magnified(rome 2 was totally broken on release and I haven't forgiven the company since)

At least you could actually mod empire and napoleon though to make the games decent.

So how many fast cracks is it gonna take Sega Europe to finally understand how pointless DRM is?

i like you

Can someone tell me why companies still bother giving Denuvo money?

Good, but I'm not even pirating this one. The first game was not very fun and the loading times wore fucking huge

the loading times are only slow after the first boot, but yeah it sucks ass. It's weird because when you get past the loading screens, (battle and campaign) you can close the game, reboot it, and no slow loading screen. Never seen this in a video game ever.

Beancounters that are alo incompetent at counting and swallow demungo's fearmongering marketing. You just have to show a beancounter a screenshot of a download counter from any popular torrent site and you'll see a high pressure stream of pure liquid shit shoot out of his asshole.

Shogun 2 isn't terrible, but it is overall a very underwhelming game.
Personally, I also disliked it. Even more so because everyone kept shoving it in my face as if it were the best thing to come out of Total War.
Which it isn't

The problem is that CA decided to keep certain kinds of cancers like research (I cannot stress how abysmal this is) and somehow made generals even worse than they were in Empire, not to mention dropping something as fantastic as unit availability.
But this is just scraping the surface.

It is not a good game, but it is exceptionally polished which is why everyone loved it and remembered it as the "greatest TW game ever" especially after the disaster that was Empire on launch.

Exactly. I watched some show on RT a few days ago. They said that there was recently an EU funded study into the effects of piracy on sales, the study found no corelation, so they burried it.

oh wow, good for them.

...

I've never understood the point of the research bullshit. Just another "thing" to inflate the game and make it artificially longer, like when games force you to go through long corridors of nothingness or add pointless mini games like hacking in bioshock. It reeks of lazyness and overall no pride in making the game.

The campaign map camera is shit, I agree. Its my #2 issue with the game after the casualized sieges. To be fair though they are addressing the "conquer everywhere" thing in the new game. I think most of the TW fans are just used to the awful camera dick in their ass at this point.

The sieges in the game are abysmal. It's lazy and casualized to the point where I just auto resolve them. The first time I have ever seen a siege map look so small, and all the maps look exactly the same.

The only TW game I remember that had good siege battles was Medieval 2 or Rome 1 maybe. Empire total war sieges are masochism.

I just want a mod for the camera man, it makes me wanna puke for real.

Then just pirate it?
t, a person who's never played Total War or a warhammer game

Better camera mod, I don't think it's been patched to Norsca yet, and even if it did I still think it would work with older versions, (1.6) is the latest I can find)

It's not that it just slows you down and deceives you into thinking that there is more depth to the game, but it is also a kind of a trap ā€“ if you fail to follow a certain order of teching, you're going to have a very bad time.
Very poor design.

To expand on this for anyone who wants to know the size of the Shogun 2 campaign map, it has approximately 70 provinces, compared to Medieval 2's 100ish. It's roughly the size of Medieval 2 without Africa and the Middle East. Provinces around Kyoto are fairly dense, with some settlements capable of launching attacks against neighbors in one turn with good roads in place. Provinces to the east and west become more spacious.

Nah, maybe if you use a bunch of katana units and tackle something from the same side or something. Yari units gain too much effectiveness by staying in formation/spear wall, and blobbed katana units are just expensive arrow catchers. It just wasn't really a thing in Shogun 2.

How so? They control as well as Rome 1 cavalry, and units like katana cavalry can mow down other units like crazy. The big expensive cavalry like fire cavalry or great guard can wreck anything with excessively strong charges. But I guess the general units aren't as good as generals from previous Total War games. They don't compare to M2 or R1 bodyguards, which are some of the best cavalry in the game.

I think cavalry was one of the stronger parts of Shogun 2, especially with the ability to dismount/mount during combat, which really should appear in more games.

That's an excessive attack. Shogun 2 has functional AI that's marginally better than the entire series (although I guess that's not saying much), doesn't crash hourly, and has a silky smooth performance.

In terms of gameplay, Rome 2 was plagued with the illusion of choice. It would give you a selection of buildings, but the correct choice was a farm and a public order building 99% of the time. The other 1% was the occasional troop-building province. It had a good variety of units, even more so than Rome 1, but by design, the vast majority of units in Rome 2 were pointless. It gave you the option to build Socii Hastati (or any of the Socii units), a lot of the other auxillaries, inferior hoplite variants, etc. But they were usually just as (if not more) expensive than the better options, and usually required additional technology or buildings.

Rome 2's bad gameplay can be defined by the illusion of choice. Shogun 2 didn't really have that because unit production buildings typically gave you units that you needed in some capacity, and you didn't have to build farms inside city slots. Even spamming things like merchant quarters wasn't a great idea, because wealth values in regions depended on fertility and other resources, and building merchants in small towns rarely paid back what you invested. You're given the option of building plenty of agent producing buildings, since each sake den, for example, gave you an extra ninja capacity.

Also, Rome 2 seems to be packed with DLC just for shits and giggles, but Shogun 2 DLC is actually incredibly good stuff. Fall of the Samurai is one of the best Total War games on it's own, and the Sengoku Jidai unit pack is actually pretty expansive for what it costs, and gives you some actual useful advanced units to build late in campaigns and use in multiplayer.

Rome 2 was also where stances began. The only games that you can compare to Rome 2 are the games that came after it, because they're just evolutions of Rome 2.

Not trying to defend research or anything, but your statements about generals being good and unit availability imply you favor Medieval 2. I know that you didn't mention the mod, but why does Stainless Steel get universally praised when it artificially locks units behind time periods, exactly like a research tree? What is the difference between researching full plate to build heavy knights and waiting for the full plate event to unlock heavy knights, or between researching gunpowder as opposed to waiting for gunpowder to be unlocked? Vanilla Medieval 2 does as well, but to a lesser extent, and Rome 1 has the time-locked Marian reforms.

I don't see the point in saying that some games in the series are using a "cancer" like research when there isn't a Total War that doesn't artifically extend the game by keeping units locked behind time gates. The only visible difference is that Shogun 2 lets you choose what age you want your heavy samurai or gunpowder units as opposed to just waiting for it to happen.

yes it is

Not sure how much warhammer you've played, but the max level on lords is level 30, which means you can't even fucking fill out their skill trees. You have to find a mod to fix everything in that game. I don't get how a game can go that long without the dev listening to the fans and fixing their game. If you leave a game to be fixed by modders your company shouldn't exist.

Rome 1 had good sieges, I remember this distinctively. Medieval 2 had good sieges when they worked. Sometimes the AI would assault your town and you think, "Oh I can wipe these clowns out if I fight it manually." Then the AI retreats to the edge of the map and waits for you, forcing you to either sally forth or wait until the battle timer runs out which takes forever even if you go max speed. Idiotic.

That's the point user, you're supposed to have multiple lords with varying skill specialties.

I dislike it. I hate this new direction of having it be way too arcadey and focus more on being able to micro and having specific units rather than tactics.
But then again the tactics in Rome & M2 boiled down to hammer and anvil so I don't know. I want some other dev to do a total war style game.

Anti-piracy faggots get cucked once again!

STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS
STEAMPUNKS = GODS

So if i were to pirate Total warhammer 1&2 would i be able to combine the two?

i hear that owners of the first game get all that content brought over to the sequel.

I believe they're going to making that a free patch in the later weeks. So I'd wait for a bit.

damn this is like the first pc game in 10 years. thank god. master race will never die 8)

>>>/cuckchan/

Medieval 2 is the obligatory starting point. Also a really fun game.

ONE DAY

This isn't a crack, though, retards.
This is an authenticator. STEAMPUNKS have had one for ages and they only need to tinker with a few things before they use it on each new game. They're also faggots and don't use it on the sparse games that haven't been cracked to piss off Denuvo and instead only use it on new releases to get attention from pirates.

If you do not want Denuvo running on your system, this doesn't fix the core issue and is purely for piracy.

Nice try Denuvo, but your shit got cracked

B-BUT DENUVO WAS SUPPOSE TO END PIRACY FOREVER!
Seriously though, why the fuck do devs/publishers keep paying for this shit? It seems to actually add bugs and even if it doesn't it fucks performance. And the main reason it's in in the first place only works for at most a month and more recently less then a week.

Tomb kings when?

The idea behind Denuvo is that it will prevent people from pirating their game long enough to pay off the 100k they spent on Denuvo.

Basically the only reason this matters.

I didnt even know total warhammer 2 was a thing

Guess thats not the case anymore.

...

that's because Medieval 2 wasn't CA. It was CA Australia. CA UK are a bunch of tallentless cucks.

It's the same idea as always-online requirements, further lock the game down and create an even greater distance between the consumer and product, to make sure they never really 'own' a copy of the game that can't be revoked at the behest of the developer/publisher if they feel the need to take it away.

An upgraded general unit tended to wreck everything in S2.

Wew. Is this the newest version of Dobungo? If so, we could very well be getting to the point where the devs just give up and stop bothering to update it. I don't think they'll truly admit defeat until the big companies stop paying for Dobungo's malware, but I sure hope this and the EU study wake them up a little.

Ain't it great? To have satisfaction that no matter how wretched your existence may be, you're not a cuckold, you're not a pedophile, and best of all, you're not a nin10yrold.

wew, fun fact CA AUS only did Medieval 2 and a 2012 Olympics game.

Dance thread? Is this a record?

you have only yourself to blame

Fuck it, why not.

...

Why did they even bother?

Are mods from the first one still compatible or should I just wait till they attempt to fix this shit again

Althougth it isnt just small changes, The sequel its just the same in graphic terms, yet its optimization is shit, WTF?!?!.
Also, when they will release the combined map?

If you're too retarded to understand what they've done and instead need to try to fit in by calling out imaginary shills, you should just fuck off to Reddit and Facebook right now.

Play the undenuvoed version if you want normal and smooth gameplay.

Want to know how I know you're not from around here?

I should be clear that the original CA died with Rome 1. Everyone that worked on Rome 1 and prior games left. The team that worked on Empire was made up of mostly new hires- hence why it was as bad as it was. The empire team a CA UK, so I'm not shitting on the games prior to the completion of Rome 1. I should've been clearer on that. Trusting them with games now is just stupid.

Welcome to Creative Assembly. You must be new.

Rome 1 was nice but it wasn't the best TW now after Medieval 2, Shogun 2 and Attila are made, come on now.

pottery

Shit movie tbhq famalam

just because none of the faggots said it ROME

Weirdly mine runs 50fps and far better (pirated version) than the first game did which I stupidly bought

Thats relic working for warhammer 40k.
This is CA working for warhammer fantasy.
They are different settings, infact, 40k is the spinoff.

And with Age of Shitmar the circle closes.

Did some commieboo had a stroke when writing this?

Not really, since AoS isnt 40k, just some stupid, high fantasy shit noone likes, wanted or asked for.

DLCHAMMER 2

woah.

Well when you can literally pirate the game on day 1 that makes Denuvo utterly worthless.

I almost forgot about that abortion.

day 1 crack seems to have done some major work too. They have only sold ~250k copies have sold and I'll bet that tapers off over the next month like it always does due to problems with the vanilla game and developer incompetency.

...

Poor jim carey, lost his soul

Darkwood was released free on tpb and did great in steam sales. Most of the comments are in agreement about the fact that releasing it for free was a show of good faith and the community returned it. The played the game free, liked it, then supported the dev by buying it.

The idea piracy has no impact on sales is as asinine as the jews saying that its killing the gaming industry.

yeah goy

Wow it's been a whole year since the site bent the knee so thoroughly. Guess that server transfer didn't fly so good. Anyways if anything piracy will actually increase sales via word of mouth, I know the lasrt game used Denuvo and pretty much nobody doing it for free when shilling for it could justify why you should buy over 6 gorrillion DLC sold seperately.

There were 10 and 50% off pre-order vouchers flying about, so that'd take a million off the initial orders, but they still made upwards of 12 million.
The real question is how much they spent on this, because this would of cost them more than $12m to make, but then again they could of just recycled the entirety of the first game and only added extra units and campaign scenarios.

If sales are down they'll blame the denuvo crack now instead of the actual culprit, too much expensive ass DLC to get a proper game. I almost wish it wasn't cracked just so they could learn their lesson.

Wew lads

FIFA 18, another latest Denuvo game got cracked in day 1 as well

Is this it? The end of Denuvo?

Could also be the fact they're selling what basically amount to a glorified expansion pack as a fully priced game, on top of all the DLC, and the previous game (that is also selling for $60) and all the DLC for that one too. You basically need $200 for the full experience. What the fuck did they think was going to happen?

This, even normalfaggots are catching on.

this is getting hilarious

It's probably dumb to give a definitive answer on this.

Piracy probably hurts good games but has no affect on bad games.

Didn't this shit already happen with the Alexander expansion for Rome?

No it fucking doesnt. Piracy does jackshit to sales. People who pirate games were never going to buy the game in the first place or would use it as a demo before purchase. Companies lose nothing, however they do lose potential customers when they implement shit like Denuvo and other bullshit. Which is why any form of DRM is bullshit.

How the fuck is Warhammer II a glorified expac again?

A whole new continent, 4-5 new factions, this is as big as the base game.

Noice maybe after this, SH: Deathwing and DoW3 maybe GW will learn

Kingdoms had way more than that, multiple new maps, many unique factions, added the ability to control multiple armies.

Shill more faggot.

Kingdoms didn't have MORE unique factions (only the nav americans are sorta), and the only new maps were a small part of America.

It might have 4 new factions but in overall content and mechanics there's barely anything different to the first game. No naval battles either which is retarded since it has the code from atilla naval battles inside. Glorified expansion pack is exactly what this is, maybe not even that

My body is ready

Wawa is actually good. Rome niggers btfo.

Yeah but does it run well?

Yeah I wonder why.

Won't happen
Warhammers 2 map already has Araby and the Land of the Dead.
They're going to be in an expansion pack to this game, probably along with the Ogres and Chaos Dwarves who live right next to it.

Either that or those last two will be in the third game since all factions until now were in already existing landmasses, but according to speculation and a supposed russian leak, the last game will be dedicated to Chaos Divided

Go back back to >>/cuckchan/ faggot.

You dumb nigger, Steamspy takes at least one or two weeks to get an accurate number.
Shits already at 312K

You blind?

Who cares how the company does? Jokes on you for sitting down and spending your precious free time on a bad game.

Alright list them, aside from the vortex which is just a lazy way to avoid post-midgame steamroll (instead of improving the AI or rebalancing the game).

...

How about finding the fucking changelog yourself instead of trying to criticise shit you haven't even heard about you lazy fuck?

What?

So you don't have any. Could just have said so, user.

sauce? and I mean the name of it, reverse image search gives me generically named videos

sauce

Energy Kuyoka!!!

hah

So been playing Medieval 2 yesterday, its kinda alright, but was quicly getting boring
what is the actual best non-fantasy total war game?
I was hoping to find something more modern too, without much awkward controls

Most would say Rome, but given that Medieval 2 is getting boring for you I'd suggest the first Medieval since Rome and M2 are pretty similar

You pirate it, faggots. Or maybe your morals stop you from doing that?

Atilla can be fun after you learn to play it, its like when the mongols show up in M2 times 100.

WAWA MASTER RACE
SHEETZCUCKS DIVE INTO THE >>>/bog/

normally when you don't like a company/series you don't play anything new and mental faculties shut down in arguments. like im so burnt out on call of duty by the time modern warfare 2 came around i'd ignore anyone that tells me even one that gets released now is good

There was a little bit of that in the old games (things like elephants and wardogs had their quirks), but over all it was about unit class, not "X unit has hax over Y unit"

you guys are a bunch of faggots

Rome: Total War is still the best.
