Of course. If we've got a champ, feel free to come in and watch and give him something when he calls for a new team. No experience necessary, and everything's done in-browser.
When the current champ calls "new champ", the first poster to claim it is our champ. The first six legal Pokemon suggested once champ has been claimed or "new team" has been called will be the team our champ uses to battle. Suggesters are not to make multiple suggestions for a team unless 15 minutes have passed since their last request, or if the champ specifically asks for re-requests. The champ will be battling in OU unless he specifies otherwise.

Have a Pixilate Sylveon with Choice Specs. Any 4 moves but 1 has to be Hyper Voice.
Pixelate = normal type moves are now fairy type Specs = hit twice as hard but once you pick a move you have to use only it until you bring your pokemon back Hyper Voice = hits hard even without specs.

Since Diamond and Pearl, physical and special have been split from types. Now it's on an individual attack basis, so some moves (eg leaf blade, vine whip) are phys, and others (eg giga drain) are special.

When in doubt, use Smogon to fill out a set. Tap Smogon Analysis next to suggested spread.
There's an option to import a full set via text. It's what suggesters usually use to give the Champion Pokemon.
It's also good to use the suggested spread button.

Scanning the Smogon analysis is a great way to see what a Pokemon is good at, at a glance. You can very quickly determine what kinds of sets work for it. You can see what kind of coverage it likes to carry. If you dig a bit deeper you can even see what matchups it likes and what matchups it struggles in. It's a great resource when you don't know what to do with a Pokemon and need a hint.
