I was thinking that as an ironic turn of events that people are skipping prelims to farm something that will be around after gw, but since the magna drop rate is higher than omega raids, I doubt this is intentional. Odd that the light and dark raids aren't affected, though.

In fact Cygames boosted the drop rates, it was a 5% in T2 previously, now it's at 10%, 15% with Treasure hunter

Actually, considering how small the chances were previously of both a chest dropping, and then chest contents to roll something good, would make sense that doubling the drop rate may make it seem as if it were glitched (specifically, the chances of the event occurring multiple times within a set period will be much greater) - did some quick probability calculations as an example, using the arbitrary chance of an event to occur 2.5% of the time, 5% of the time, and 10% of the time for comparison.

Chances of at least 1 in 10 at 2.5% - ~22.4%
Chances of at least 2 in 10 at 2.5% - ~2.5%

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced there was no "bug" event, and the results line up with people going nuts over an intended doubling of a formerly rare drop rate. Thing is, probability can be very unintuitive (for an example of this, look up the "Monty Haul Problem", where what seems to be a 50/50% chance is actually 66/33%). Considering it has been well over a day since the patch dropped and there was no downtime to "fix" anything, despite all of people's fervor, I’m willing to bet a lot of this is people going nuts over nothing.
You have people comparing the personal results of mass spamming fights with an increased drop rate to their former experience of probably never spamming T2s to this extent, nevermind the former drop rate being half of what it is now. Moreover, the more people spam it, the more often people will get occurrences of several drops from one fight, or from fights in quick succession – and as I calculated in my previous post, the chances of a multidrop occurring would be well over three times what they were previously. Now, exacerbate this with those who get exceptionally (or even moderately) lucky posting results that would formerly have been unimaginably rare (now made even more common with the extent that people are spamming the content, nevermind the increase in drop rate), and you get an event fueled by with word of mouth and confirmation bias.
So, no wonder people are convinced that Baal is the “most bugged” – he’s currently the most farmed, and so there would be more occurrences of people getting lucky with multidrops and then posting about it. Amusingly enough, I’ve personally had the most luck with Odin, who many people are convinced “isn’t bugged”, because they (or their friends) haven’t had good luck with him, and then the rumor mill disseminates this as a certainty.

I wish that some of these character's got more non-poem doujinshi. I mean you could have a hella fun series following just Will's adventures as a crew member. No one takes him in their party so, other than big event's like storming the tower, he can just get off the ship at any island and go exploring until they all agreed to meet back up or an emergency flare gets lit. What about Alstiar and Norcel wandering around islands looking for book's and hints to ancient knowledge. Then you can have them back at the ship after the fight discussing their finds with Altair and maybe getting clues to the true authorship of Norcel's book. You could have Elmelaura getting into a horrific cooking accident and dying why can't I get her ugly face out of my inventory ree.

So what's the deal with this water weapon? The wiki says that it and the spiked club come from the R-only quest on Port Breeze, but I've never seen either drop (since only the rabbit and elemental show up). Supposedly both come from event draw boxes, too, and that's where I got the club, but I've never seen the shotel even after a dozen clubs. I've got all my three-tiger axes for this gw, so doing more drawbox is a bit of a chore. Am I doing something wrong looking for these or is there some rare monster I should be looking for in that one R-only quest?

I'm really not feeling like 5* Tien is worth the gold bar(s), the other eternals seem to get so much out of their 5*, but she just a teamwide break assassin after 10 turns and a bit of damage, fire already has better buffers that don't need to wait, and teamwide break assassin isn't even exclusive to her I feel like I should just get a different Eternal instead, but I honestly hate this rainbow meta, I couldn't care less about the other elements, I might finally be free of this game.

She also becomes a much better attacker, probably not enough to be worth a gold bar but at least she becomes useful for more than the drop rate boost and TH.

Since the last trial character turned out to be Grea I shouldn't get my hopes up about DAO, but that's a rather convincing moveset for her. That "can't use special attacks while in effect" Skill 1 sounds pretty great too, although the 2/9 turn upkeep is a bit sad.

If she can just shut down boss ougi's then 2 turns is more than enough to recover your delay(if you use Chaos Lord etc) or to get your defensive buffs back up, actually I just really want to know how it works in raids, imagine bringing her to UBaha and just stopping him from nuking you to shit
