No, I'm someone who researched what BattlEye was when I was prompted to install it in order to play the game. I refused and uninstalled it. Nice attempt to distract from what I said, but it didn't work and you didn't put be on the defensive. You just showed how little of a position you have to argue from.

Battleye is actively sending back dumps of entire files, linked with your IP address, to the master server where they are stored indefinitely. It can send any file that it has access to.

Some user said you only need it if the server you play on forces it.

It depends on the server and how they choose to run it.

It can be:

Pure 2
Pure 1
No pure -1
No pure -2

No pure -1 means sound mods (in my experience) may not work but everything else will.
No pure -2 means all workshop mods will work.
