To get rid of the cake itself go to Options->Theme and paste
#hbdv { visibility: hidden; }
at the bottom, then press Save custom CSS, close and refresh. Should be gone.

Here's a simple solution for faggots that use Chrome: right click, inspect, find the line in the image and select delete element. It resets when you reload the page, so it should work well enough for the day.

Full solution to getting rid of the cake AND the music. Go to options (top right).
Under "User JS" Paste in the box on the right:

Press save.
And under "Theme" Paste:
#hbdv { visibility: hidden; }
Press save.
Refresh browser. Music and cake will be gone.
