Game already flopping because no wants to play a literal walking simulator

All the SJW pandering shit aside. Who thought it was a good idea to give a walking simulator a big budget? At least gone home was low budget. So it could at least break even.

same reason as nu-male sky

I can't tell the game by thumb and am not clicking it.
Webm?

going off the pewdiepie note, it's firewatch.

The game had a large budget? What cost so much money? The voice acting?

Yep it's firewatch. Friendly reminder slender the arrival both has better graphics and ran better than firewatch

Probably Overpriced Voice acting union talent and devs struggling to get the unity engine to work.

Ok.

Where is the insane logic behind that?

there is none.

Logic is a social construct

I mean, what does the tweet say? "Donald Trump voters scare people from buying Firewatch" or something?

Can we expand a little? there is this game called Hyper Universe that basically is committing suicide by censoring sexy ladies, first it was in the west, but now since people found out how to mod the game to uncensor now they said it will be globally censored.

They sprint into walls, then blame institutionalized construction privilege for their broken noses.
It's like MKUltra without the charm and free acid.

...

Reminds me of something recent, this person among my former FB contacts (I know, I know, lolFB), is kind of a "trap" has a YT channel and made some "porn" in xHamster, wants to get tons of subs with minimal effort and all those things.

Long story short, he posted a video with a Gantz character costume walking around in a street, apparently made with UE, he said he wants to program a Gantz game and he wanted to see if there were any artists.

Then I recommended him some videos from Troy Leavitt where he says what would be the best order to tackle a game project, he then said "I prefer Extra Credits", I explained him why following their advice would be stupid, Troy says "focus on the gameplay aspects first, visuals come after that", then I asked him what the gameplay would be, he was literally expecting others to pitch the gameplay ideas to him, at some point saying an MMORPG or something, then I asked him if he knew the source material, I only watched 2 episodes, he doesn't seem to know Gantz at all.

And well, in the end he just made a fool of himself while still acting high and mighty, saying EC was better and he didn't even know what UE4 meant.

The only thing he is missing is living in San Francisco, California.

It's all going so right.

imagine having to constantly try to relate everything to trump because you have to remind people you don't like him

A Gantz game could be cool. Something like Crackdown but better

Is Gantz action oriented or something? since I only saw the first 2 episodes I basically saw only the deaths and the stuff on the waiting room.

There was an earthquake recently over here, the epicenter was disastrous, we fared way better, here in Mexico we hate the government, is the most corrupt in the world I think, but when it comes to hating Trump there are idiots who claim Trump has some kind of doomsday device and suddenly every recent natural disaster is his fault or something.

Firewatch came out 2 years ago, has any sales data been released? Interested to know whether it was a flop or not, considering it was advertised fairly extensively compared to other indies.

This, why are everyone acting like it's somehow relevant again and that you should care about them cucking it out in twitter?

Its a manga about hunting aliens that hide on earth while the hunters use futuristic/alien tech and weapons. The main characters wear suits that give them super strength too.

Crackdown style gameplay would be great imo

Pretty action-oriented. Dead people get dropped into an arena with hi-tech guns and suits that give them super-strength, but have limited juice. They're then told to find an alien (or aliens) and kill it.
I never read the manga but that's basically the premise.

I see, then open world action oriented like Crackdown, Infamous or Prototype I guess.

I'm going to assume "hateful rhetoric" is in there somewhere.

How about a top-down shooter like the other Crackdown?

Voice acting. Also being based in San Fran where it's comically expensive just to exist.

Good.

This game didn't flop, at all. It sold 800k copies.

The devs are niggers, but lying at any moment allows for the other side to call a "fallacy fallacy" and proclaim they're the winners.

800k at 20 buck a peice is 16 mil. How much did they pay to make the game?

Most tripple A Games over budget over Voice acting and they used voice acting guild talent for a indie game.

I don't know, seems a fair bit for a shitty sjw walking sim.

Yeah. I still liked the part where everyone in the starter group died except for Kei. Because for a short while he just enjoyed the death and gore, running around and massacring shit and stuff.

There was this giant cyclops which was immune to all weapons, so Kei just takes a running start and pierces its eye, skullfucks it on the inside with the weapons and then comes out like "That's it?" covered in gore and blood.

Some estimates I saw put it between 5-7m.

So it made a profit, and a decent one too. It didnt flop, but it isnt gonna make much more money after this.

If they were developing it in San Francisco you can easy double the price, especially considering how long it takes these indie cucks to do anything.

I did already. I tacked on another 2m to the estimated cost. Depending on how much money steam and the PS store if its on there takes, then their profit margins comes down again.

The better game was the Steam forums. Just like the good ol' days after 9/11.

I really miss good wholesome raids. There were some choice ones after the initial exodus. Anyone remember that one with the weird indie game where you could type a letter and everyone synchronized for maximum shitpostan?

Didn't this game came out years ago?

Yes, they just jumped the gun because they wanted to be relevant again.

It was absolutely uneventful when it came out, outside of other SanFag cronies jacking eachother about it. Faux tabloid tier shite for exposure.

They think they can gimmick. They will never touch this. Because they are wrong. Always.

...

You are forgetting that valve takes 1/3 of that.

Summon the meteor

Anything that isn't tangible isn't real in their minds.

No need, many enough have seen the black sun. Most are adorable. Nothing they hate more than the world loving you for being true and warning your kind what is up the path. And, when they start listening and realizing you are not just another madman and just pointing out actual danger. Most people that are not anons need heroes of the unyielding variety.

We live in a post truth world, goy.

...

Seriously, is there a screencap of them blaming Trump? I need to see that.

You can bet 90% of those were bought on the steam sale and I think it's been in humble bundles as well.
It sold about 100k more than Gone Home for all the effort they put into voice acting and having a "plot". They might as well have been even lazier than they were.

The real tragedy is that, just like Gone Home, it has a cool premise. In Gone Home you return to your 90s home and find no one there, it's a dark, rainy, stormy night and you're trying to figure out what the fuck is going on and where everyone went, and then it all goes to shit because the plot is about your sister being a dyke.

In Firewatch you're a park ranger alone in the wilderness, with only the voice in your radio for company, and need to go around on patrol while spooky stuff happens, only that nothing spooky really goes on and the big reveal is that you're being stalked by a crazy hobo that lives in the woods.

Liberals sure know how to fuck up good ideas.

Because you are falling for a false flag.

How the fuck did this game have a "big budget," mate? You can clearly see everything takes place in a bubble. And its in the Source engine which you can use for free. I don't understand.

Maybe he meant logic is an abstract concept and not real life energy or matter

didn't firewatch come out like a year ago?
I figured that anybody who was going to buy that shit would have already. What difference would anything make now?
Didn't it also have gays or trannys in it or something so I can't see them winning anybody over with this virtue signaling shit that they haven't already won.

...

Didn't they advertised it as some sort of survival horor game?

...

Yeah. A lot of people watch the anime and drop it though. Gantz could work as a lobby based "mmo", but you would have to find a way to translate the alien kill points into a meaningful currency as the characters eat shit later in the manga for underestimating how much more important it was to invest their points in weaponry instead of copy pasting themselves back to life.

Damnit I just wanted to start the day happy.

Slate like the onion right?

Traps are ok tbh

the logic behind that is IF I MADE A GAME THAT FAILS THEN IM A FAILURE THERE MUST BE SOMEONE ELSE TO BLAME SO I'M NOT A FAILURE

MUST
PROTECT
EGO

Fun fact: it was written by a Snopes employee.

Firewatch wasn't even that a bad an experience until the fucking ending, all that for a LOL I ACCIDENTALLY KILLED MY SON AND NOW I HIDE :>>>>>>>>

You mention this trap has made softcore porn, and then don't post any links? For shame.

I didn't even know Gantz was more of a thing. I saw the Netflix movie where people are basically drafted to fight the aliens at random by being downloaded from reality and uploaded as some kind of meat-based pixel hero, but it didn't make any sense and was pretty garbage.
I could see it working much better as a video game, since story can be ignored completely and you can just focus on aliens and over the top gore.

There was a PS2 game. Haven't played it so I'm not sure how it holds up. I have read the manga and oh boy, you'd be glad not to read it till the end. It was all about the mystery aspect of the situation that was the draw. Just like a lot of survival game manga, it's about the designs of the monsters and who gets killed next. I would say it peaked at around the statue arc. As it went along, it becomes such a cobbled mess and so much wasted potential.

I honestly didn't mind what the purpose of Gantz was about killing illegal aliens but the execution of it all was just shitty. fighting avatar size aliens on their home planet was the purpose of the countdown and was a weak way to end the series. Dropping the brother vampire plot line and "god" reveal were equally stupid That is some of the stuff I remember because I don't have interest in reading it again. It was the "Attack on Titan" of its time, even when you can tell the mangaka doesn't know where to take the story, it just meanders until cancellation after lasting longer than it should.

Yes.

That what I thought. I think they did the same with Tacoma and it turned out to be another walking simulator with fat lesbians in a space station.

Is the anime worth watching?

Nah, it's poorly animated and is paced like shit.

Neither the anime nor the manga are good.

Apparently, they're making a Firewatch movie now as if the game wasn't already one.

imdb.com/title/tt6104804/

It's been out since feb. Did you think it just came out?

Didn't it come out like last year though?

As if you needed any more proof that the scummier parts of the game industry are conjoined with Hollywood at the hip.

Virtue signaling killed sales rather than boosting them, which is clearly due to Donald Trump turning everyone into Nazis.

You mean like the physical difference between male and female?

It's fantastic at times and the aliens are very unnerving, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The interesting part is using the DMCA to take down vids you dont like, pewdiepie is taking it like a typical swede and is not going to do anything about it so expect more DMCAs used to target people the SJWs dont like.

So you mean they all have autism because they can only understand things that are laid out in concrete terms and any semblance of nuance is lost to them completely?

You can file functionally anonymous copyright claims on an YT video. Enough reports and its auto pulled, unless its posted by a big trusted name (tm)

If you can ignore the music the retard who made the webm used. Or just look up yuri bezmenov.

Do you really want to risk burning your eyes?

...

Reminds of how "sustainability" is being used to indoctrinate people into thinking that Agenda 21/2030 as good thing because of "muh Global Cooling/Warming/Change is done by man".
Following everything Yuri told, these people are programmed to help establish a system that'll destroy them and slave their peers(that probably never accepted such madness).

I really liked it aside from the ending which is fucking garbage. It's so nice watching something that has the balls to not give the main characters plot armor, makes every violent encounter very tense. Tons of gore and what the fuck moments, it also had a surreal vibe to it throughout. I think they made the adaptation before the manga was done so they just slapped together some nonsense for the end and called it a day unfortunately.

I shouldn't act surprised, because we've known and joked about the left's stupidity and lack of logic before, but Christ reading this is still painful. I think on top of that we've been memeing the left's lack of logic so hard that they actually DO LACK LOGIC BECAUSE NOW THEY HATE LOGIC ITSELF.

I WANT to burn my eyes.
