Nintindo is dead in terms of innovation. They might make small steps with their zelda line but it will be more of a evolution of past concepts but with better immersion. Everything else will be better graphics and copy paste.

Can't think of too many 4 player beat-em-ups that you can still download. Konami took The Simpsons and X-Men off XBLA, and Ubi took down Scott Pilgrim, so the only ones I can think of are Castle Crashers and Charlie Murder.

If you ever get the chance, play Charlie Murder. It's Castle Crashers, but better.

I've been meaning to play Tales of Zestiria with a friend since it's a series we've been prone to co-oping, but his PS3's almost full on space (game forces a 10gb install and he's got a 60GB machine at max, even lower due to system updates), and there's no way he'll leave his neighborhood to play it here at my place.

I still miss the game nights me and four friends used to have. Those nights will never return.

I will always remember the time we were playing CSGO and we kicked our team and 2v5ed the enemy and won after losing the first half.

I usually enjoy Tales, and I figure I can at least get my $6 worth that I dropped on it. Also heard that co-op restores some better camera control, or something. Your right though that opinion seems pretty mixed, especially more on the "it's shit" side amongst anons. Still, pretty much every entry since Vesperia has been considered rather mixed fare from what I've seen, I certainly enjoyed Graces f and both Xillias for what they were.

And to be honest, there's a number of games I've liked despite mixed reception that I found cheaply before, and which I'm not sure I'd be able to say the same had I got them at launch price.

For a number of years, he main game that wound up being divisive (amongst western fans anyhow; Japan seems quite fond of it despite having gotten an inferior version) was Abyss. Most series fans seemed more or less agreeable with the rest at the time up through Vesperia, provided that you didn't play the GBA port of Phantasia, with Symphonia and Vesperia being western favorites. After that though, and since Graces f came over after a noticeable drought of new western releases (Vesperia having been 2008, with Graces f being 2012 here), it's seemed like every new entry gets considered varying degrees of shit, and I've been seeing a number of people making claims of when the series became "dead" to them, with some even claiming Phantasia SFC to have been the only good one.

Shame that Tales threads here haven't been quite as good as the ones on halfchan years back.

Might also add (considering I forgot about it until looking more at the picture) that there's a difference between Abyss and Legendia's status, namely that Abyss is divisive in plot and character but still has plenty of fans, while the gameplay execution for Legendia leaves it without many fans at all, and is much more prone to being out-and-out disliked (and thus not so much divisive). Honestly surprises me Bamco hasn't given it the "Tempest" treatment and relegated it to escort status. I don't hate it myself, but it's far from a favorite.
