It's more like countries instead of factions. Belka is Germany, Osea can be likened to the European Union. USEA is the USA. Yuktobania is Russia. I don't know what Erusea can be likened to, but it's a kingdom in 7.

Most of the series takes place in a world called Strangereal, and there are references and effects of old wars, like Belkas setting off nukes on their own soil.

I don't think it can top AC5, sorry but it's most likely true.
