Not really. Common clown pratfalls aren't as liked and don't generate a laugh, so instead it's mixed with magician acts.

IE: Slipping out of handcuffs might be neat, but when said clown is handcuffed to something and casually slips out of them to help with something else in the preparation for a bigger act, then it becomes funny.

Unpredictability, which is why they are tied up with magician acts and performed in a way that's silly and makes them seem like a real live cartoon character.

The WEBM has bad quality because youtube is the source. There's no way to make youtube videos look good because google encodes them to have very low bitrate and encode quick. Youtube also only supports lossy formats outside h264/vp9 for video which can be lossless but almost nobody bothers with lossless h264/vp9, and google itself recommends people send low bitrate files to them to save bandwidth. Generally when someone WEBMs a youtube video they're doing a lossy low bitrate encode for the 3rd time.
