Real hedgehogs only have fur on the part of Sonic that looks like skin, so making that part look furry would probably look gross, because it was never designed to look even close to realistic. The blue part is supposed to be spines, not fur. Each of those things on his back isn't a clump of fur, each one is a single giant spine, and the same goes for what's on Amy's and Knuckles' heads. Only a few characters, like Tails or Rouge, would make more sense as actually being covered in fur, and then it would look weird compared to the hedgehog characters.

It's drawn like that because real hedgehogs have a fold of skin kind of similar to eyebrows above their eyes that they can use to pull their head quills over their face when they get scared or whatever, and it ends up looking like that. It makes sense for Sonic because they essentially have super expressive eyebrows, giving them a lot of 'tude. The issue is that anime has huge eyes, so they made the eyes so huge they take up the entire face and meet in the middle. And the mouth is the same color as the chest, even though the chest should be fur and the mouth is the one part that isn't furry. But I'm sure if you shrunk Sonic's eyes and colored the area around his eyes the same color as his chest or mouth, it would look gross.

Angel Island is constantly moving. it just so happens that in Sonic Adventure it landed extremely close to where it originally came from. But not in exactly the same spot. It landed next to the same pyramid it was originally next to, but on the wrong side.
There were always multiple shrines on Angel Island, too. We see an outdoor one in Knuckles' final boss fight and again in the game's ending.

Well that was just a replica shrine built by Gerald, so clearly there's nothing about the main shrine that is perfectly unique.
There's a huge Aztec style pyramid in the Mystic Ruins that you see in the present and also in the flashback sequences, but in the flashback sequences, the area that would become Angel Island is located opposite the cliff that leads down to a giant jungle, while in the present, Angel Island has landed on the left side of the Pyramid, if you're facing the cliff. So it landed very close to where it was originally from, but not exactly.
Plus, in Sonic 3 it just lands directly in the ocean. So it's not just hovering over the same spot. The emeralds make islands move, like South Island did in the earliest games. We never see this when the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald are together, though, but it's well established that they cancel each other out, so that can make sense.

The only reason Archie Sonic was readable was because they started hiring fans to create Sonic material before Sega caught on to the act, and they got the most autistic writer in the world to write great fanfiction, with the help of great fan artists (who by the way were all actual works for hire and living below the poverty line, never knowing if Archie would hire them to do the subsequent issue). But even this was still held back by the writer's autism insisting that he keep using the comic and TV show OCs. He did a good job trying to salvage it, but it was ultimately just polishing a turd.

First of all I would very much love to hear about this strange technology that you are talking about that would allow making a fur like appearances more simple as I would love to be able to use it for my sonic inspired hayde skins set idea as its hard as fuck to get fur in models without modeling the fur then baking the model as a normal map especially since making normal maps from scratch is fucking difficult from a work flow perspective because you can't really get a look at the results without first rendering in engine anyway, otherwise you could always use participial systems for simulating a fur but partial systems take up resources in rendering.

He's right. Sony and microsoft compete because they often have mostly the same third party titles. Nintendo has shut out everything, they aren't competing with sony to get people to play destiny on the switch, they are holding all their games hostage on one platform. And they don't really have to try, has any move nintendo made in the past ten years been a smart one or one that required effort? Nintendo is off in their own little world.

My point was that nintendo has monopilized it's system. Much like apple products do, you use itunes on your iphone and laptop, have one apple account for all your shit, etc., nintendo has locked out competition by only letting their games release on their platform. What sony and microsoft do is irrelevant to them because they aren't really competing for the same audience. And because of this no matter how they fuck up or misstep, they will always have people buying (to an extent, the wiiu was still a failure, but I don't know why it was when the switch seems pretty successful so far) because anyone who wants to play any of their games has to use their hardware.

Okay, it's not technically a three issue comic but a one shot special, however it had a sequel comic that was also a "one shot" and it was scheduled to have a third, closing issue but they dropped it. How's that?
What's really annoying is that all three of these specials would have been listed as #1 despite clearly being direct continuations of each other.
