Sudeki wasn't that bad. It was a little weird how the game's plot had the characters' upgraded powers and appearances coinciding directly with character development via revelations from God, though.
That said, I never beat it. Got all the way to the final boss on a rental and then had to return the game.

I pretty much only bought Lost Kingdoms (Rune in Japan) because it had a cute girl on the cover. I was not disappointed, though. It was pretty fun.

I'll give Thief 3 a pass, and not just because of the atrocity that came out after. It's just a reasonable game even if it's a bad Thief game. Also really like those golem monsters and their deep gravelly voices and repetition in their speech. Mods also fix some of the XBOX-imposed issues.

Can you give a second opinion on Lost Kingdoms? I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

I maybe one of the few actual people that truly believe that Atomato is the next fucking level of video games and having some cancerous ecelebs saying just that makes me doubt myself.
Still I can't help but adore it with every part of myself.

The Lost Kingdoms games are real-time/action RPGs with the twist that instead of using weapons to fight, you have a deck of cards that you summon monsters from. You can customize that deck as much as you want in the first game without issue, though if you don't have enough MP to summon a monster, it'll use up your HP to summon them instead. This ends up making summoning free in the first game so long as you don't mind having 1 HP.
About two or three areas into the game, you unlock the ability to create copies of your cards, or transform them into different ones. Doing so costs EXP, which your cards accumulate as you use them in battle. This ends up making the game pretty grindy if you're shooting for some of the late game cards early or if you just want to get 100% completion.
Making that matter worse is that whenever you complete an area, the game locks you out of it until you successfully beat the game. Fortunately, any EXP your cards have accumulated is saved regardless of whether you've completed the current area, so if you find an area that gives a lot of EXP quickly you can go in, grind, then leave for the world map and reenter to reset the area entirely.
Also, some of the boss fights can get pretty frustrating, especially ones where you're fighting a summoner like the player. Enemy summoners can't run out of cards, don't need to spend MP, and will often abuse the game's summoning mechanics to avoid taking damage. These fights are pretty rare, but the penultimate boss is one of them and does this shit constantly, to the point where the actual final boss is much easier even though you'll have probably burned through most of your deck just getting to him.

Japan has truly surpassed the West in artistic expression. This ass is a masterpiece for the ages.

It was the first game that made me actually feel feels other than "fuck yes" and "i swear on me mum's life, i'll split this desk in half" in a very, very long time. I just wish the PC port wasn't such shit so I could actually buy it, and get E ending the way it's meant to be done.

Senran is absolutely a series where most people will honestly admit they were thinking with their dick when they bought it. I look forward to thinking with my dick yet again when the PS4 remake of Burst comes out even if I really wish Takaki would make another Valkyrie Drive game instead.

I was not expecting this game to be that fun. I love Metal Slug and this game takes a lot from it. My favorite character is Sachiko though because her grapple and flame kicks make her very mobile and fun to use. Lamias are a bitch to fight but anyone smaller than her is bully material. It almost felt like using Dwarf in Dragon's Crown.

There are 4 characters in all and each have their own playstyle. One character plays like Marco from Metal Slug. Another is slightly like Dwarf from Dragon's Crown. Then there's the android that plays like Megaman and then the MC who has great aerial mobility and several jumps. The game is plenty hard too with some good bosses though there are only 3. I was having so much fun I decided to get gud but the Bee Queen usually ruins my run.

No clue why it did that. Anyway here's a 1CC of someone doing this with the Metal Slug character. Her MAX level special move replaces her grenades with the shotgun. It turns the game to easy mode. Also Chaos mode is insane. Enemies become super aggressive and most of your invincibility frames are removed. Like the Queen Bee can chain grab you 3 times if you get caught once. That puts you to near death if you're level 1. Also enemies flinch less when hit making characters like Sachiko much harder to play since she doesn't have the tools to quickly deal with lamias who seem and silk worms unless she's LV3/MAX.

Phantom Hourglass really isn't that bad. A little janky but it's fine. It's not like combat has been a big part of Zelda since 2 anyway.

The control scheme makes my hands feel terrible after playing for an hour or two. However the multiplayer was the most fun part of that game.

Looking back, though it isn't really the worse of the MGS games and as a game that stands alone (apart from the series) it is at least a 3.5 out of 5.
