The Blue Yeti is a remarkably mediocre microphone. You can do far, far better for the money.
It's good for some things, namely picking up the noise in an entire room - great for recording conferences, events like a GDQ, your band practice, and the sound of a pin dropping down the hall (which is not what you want - because it'll pick up a lot of noise). It's not good as a primary vocal mic at all. It really doesn't seem to pick up things that are directly in front of it because it doesn't have one front-facing capsule, but two stacked capsules each pointing ~30 degrees off axis.
You would do well with a decent condenser mic and a cheap XLR interface with phantom. The Behringer UM2 is one such interface and it'll run you ~$25. That leaves you up to $100 to spend on a mic. There are a few decent choices in that price range, but the Audio Technica AT2020 is probably the best overall if you're planning to do voice-over, though you might want to test a few different mics because it does depend on your voice.
Also, you'll likely want a pop filter and a shock mount at some point if you're serious about this. For the AT2020 (or any other microphone), that'll be ~$15 tops. The Blue Yeti's shock mount is proprietary and will run you $60.
Before you ask
Because they usually cost more, are less versatile (you have to plug into a PC), and the amplification stages are terrible. Spend the extra money now on a separate, reusable and replaceable interface. You'll thank me later when you're more familiar with this stuff.

They don't make the company money. I've been looking into search engines for a few days now, and digging deep into Google and Yahoo's technical history.

The best search engine is the one that returns the most relevant results. This is how Google took over the world: They used a simple search algorithm that filtered out only spam, and used people's click history to rank results, making sure the best result for a given search was ranked first.

This is going to sound retarded, but other search engines refused to do this at the time. They were obsessed with something called "stickiness", which basically means "how long a user is using our search engine at a time." The longer they used it, the more ads they would see. So a site like Lycos would deliberately fuck up your search results. They might put the best result - the one you really wanted- at the bottom of the page, to make you have to click through all the dud results above it. Each time you clicked Back to try the next one, you got fed more ads.

Google was smarter - they gave you the best possible results by storing and tracking your clicks. If a page showed ten results, the one that the most people clicked and stopped at was probably the best result, and would get ranked higher. Google was great compared to everyone else, so everyone started using it.

Once this happened, Google could then rely on the sheer volume of people using their site to make money off the ad revenue, without having to worry about jewing each individual user for maximum shekels. Keep this up for a few years, and now "Google" is a term synonymous with "look something up on the Internet."

A search engine that doesn't track users is never going to give as good and crisp results as one that does. Storing the tracking information also allows them to target ads better, and so make more money. This is why DDG is kind of a hot mess, where the results are never as good as Google's and I say that as a hater of Google.

THE REAL OPPORTUNITY HERE IS THIS:

Google is now doing something similar to what let it kill its competitors. Specifically it is filtering searches based on their own arbitrary desires (political ideology as opposed to milking "stickiness"). If a new, major search engine comes along now that follows the model that Google used to use - simply giving the best result every time, without restrictions, it could carve out a hunk of Google's market share. And if Google refused to adapt by rolling back their policies, it could even dethrone them.

Start with $100k in capital. Buy a small server farm and set it up in a building with direct Fiber. Do a simple indexing and ranking system with a spam filter like Google originally used. Launch the spiders to start indexing pages to the tune of ~1billion pages a day.

While this is running, build the email server infrastructure. A simpler, less "tracky" competitor to Gmail that is tied to the search engine. Link people's accounts to searches and use anonymized tracking data, the way old search engines did before Facebook infected everything. Next build an ad server structure based on the original Adwords system, but leave our all the arbitrary restrictions. No ban on selling guns, for example. Restrict porn, drugs, and illegal content only, just to keep it SFW.

Now the system is all ready and the spiders have already been indexing pages for three or four months, with the spam filter sorting the results in a preliminary fashion. Bring the website live. Big test it and load test it. Drop it on Reddit and let them use it for a month to give your sorting algorithm some initial user input to go off of. Bug test it again.

Advertise the FUCK out of it. Everywhere. Get in bed with the FOSS community and get it on Ubuntu as a default SE.

6-7 months later, watch Google shit massive bricks as their marketshare begins to rapidly disappear.
