I used to repaint Starbound to make monsters look more alien. I quit when I realised the game was irredeemably shit.
Tips:
Fuck that, I meant with a basic color. Many tools allow you to change the hue so you can turn it later into any color you want, just don't start with gray.

The "games repainting" phrase seems to be a new tumblr name thing, basically an excuse to put memes and shit into games

The paper mario stream they had people making submissions for specific textures and Dialog strings in the game before they actually streamed the finished project. It was open contrary to the usual format where the games repainted team works on their own.
That's kind of the fucking point. You're not supposed to follow the artstyle as close as you can. With repaints, you pump the original game with as many memes as you possibly can or "teh lulz".
You can meme and retain quality you know.
I've tried to watch repainted game streams before, but there's way too much undertale shit for it to be funny. It's not even a meme, it's just a fucking game that will never ever stop being shilled everywhere. I'm so fucking sick of seeing that game everywhere I go.

Alright, made some slight tweaks to the Isaac Gondola to better fit the Isaac artstyle and better represent Gondola's design a bit. I'm gonna have a tough time with the shit on the bottom right corner however. I see shit that I don't know where they're located on Isaac's head.

Fucking hell that reminds me of my first time attempting making my own mod to ad a new creature to some old 3d game. Fucked it up so badly that the model was some distorted lovecraftian horror. Kept it that way and made it run twice as fast as it should.
