a) Sanderson is a shit writer, and he displayed the extent of his capability with the last Wheel of Time books. Hell, even his personal subreddit shat on the preview of his latest book. Within the Mistborn books, only the first one is barely readable, and the theocracy is utterly shat upon in the later books.

b)Chaika is an anime that swung between eh to shit. I have difficulty tolerating LNs (and VNs), so I didn't read the books.

c)Get Trigger to turn it into a franchise then, like most every anime that comes out of Japan these days. You'll get your wish except it'll be a musou.

He's alright, it's a YA novel but with some okay worldbuilding, I didn't really read much more than the Mistborn.

There is nothing really wrong with Chaika although it doesn't do anything extraordinary until the ending which as rushed. It was an alright 7/10 adventure series. It was fun to watch but nothing else, though it would make for a great lighthearted DnD styled RPG.

Working as a mercenary in the black lagoon universe would make for a fun game. Or playing as revvy herself. Maybe the maid.

The books turn into Mary Sue crap on most all the characters' parts, the setting goes to shit quite literally, the eunuch becomes god by the end. Then there's three more books that take place after a timeskip, and are styled as westerns, and the setting keeps getting more and more retarded. I regret that I wasted brain cells on that shit. But anyway, just take my advice and drop Sanderson in general after the first book.

I'm thinking more along the lines where you play as that one cop girl in the Misadventure of Tron Bonne. At most you capture one of them and find out that they were just looking for a good way into your base or whatever and the real final fight can begin. Tacticool animu games could work.

Did you miss the fact the Rebels have RPGs and machineguns? There's a reason the Panzer Cops go around with MG42s. Plus, as the plot progresses you'll eventually face off against your own police and military forces, everything culminating in a desperate last stand.

Given the high lethality of the setting, the different abilities of the cast, and the need for teamwork, I could see the game working kind of like a modernized Crystal Chronicles. Riko, Reg, Nanachi, and I don't know who to suggest for player 4. I'd say Meinya, being a lightweight and fast scout that's immune to the curse, but that's pretty far into the delve to make a player character out of if we're assuming we want a party of 4 to start the game together.

Yeah, it would be another generic first person action game with gimmicky powers that only really work as well as they do because all the enemies are retarded and all the levels are painstakingly built to highlight said powers with wonky physics and questionable layouts to make them seem more interesting than they really are.

Pushing and pulling against metals to fly around the city, fighting with hyper-tuned senses and superhuman strength, and doing crazy shit like Kelsier's grand finale with all the flying weapons and shit against enemies like the Steel Inquisitors… No modern game studio with enough money has the actual talent or skill for gameplay design to make it work. They'd make something sloppy and dumbed down. Simply one button combat where all your attacks are reflexive QTEs or where everything is done for you.

Considering just how much weight and momentum play into the action of Mistborn, I don't think there's any possibility that there could be a good Mistborn game made.

Lazy devs are more likely to take the path of least effort and profit by latching onto something existing, so its not too much of a stretch to see new games flooded with unoriginal material. At least Japan is a major competitor in the gaming, so I don't think pulling a Hollywood is as easy.

However I think video games have a completely different appeal than movie, anime, and literature, and I dislike "story" games so I normally don't think that.
