This news is great, it means one of their core pillars is going down Westwood style (but without a speck of grace, respect and honor that Westwood had at the end). Bioware could possibly still survive if Anthem is good, but since this is EA there are plenty of ways they will fuck up.

DICE is already starting to crack, NuBattlefront 2 looks like a good contender of breaking DICE since it's almost literally the same as the previous game. PopCap worries me because casuals might still buy their shit and keep them afloat, but the more core pillars that crumble then more EA might start fucking up PopCap so I'm not that worried about their continued survival. That only leaves Respawn Entertainment, with FPS games there always comes a point where you will fuck up, and we all know how EA deals with fuck ups.

When these four companies collapse, EA's only significant series license will be Star Wars which will last until 2023. Then they will only be left with sports licenses, the very core that supports their shitty existance, good thing is that it will be far easier to destroy them when they are only left with sports.

As the humans fight off the undead race they continue to run into groups of reclusive, secretive humanoids that resemble humans, but every inch of their body is covered and they all wear gasmasks. They use equipment reminiscent of WW1/WW2 designs. Whenever the team approaches them, they run away.

The core begins to power up and after a few moments, for a split microsecond, it sends out an extremely powerful pulse. This pulse is immediately detected by just about every spacefaring race. Numerous leaders, primarily of races that are immortal, declare the return of magic to be heresy. Some civilizations disagree and this leads to a galaxy wide war among the stars, which slowly inches its way towards Sol. The ayys confuse the humans for the mysterious telepathic ayys, who actually eat worlds. They are able to industrialize an entire world and drain it in just a few years time. Then, when done, they break the world apart for resources. They're excellent at digging trenches, using artillery, and creating more of themselves to drown their enemies with. Naturally, believing that the people around Sol have violated an ancient treaty, set out to utterly exterminate them. The humans are promptly wiped out and the race becomes traveling scavengers. They too begin to wear gasmasks and conservative equipment as they seek out to find treasure among the stars.
