gameplay footage really isn't selling me, would be cooler if the game was Gokkun instead

the impressin i get from video footage is somewhat mixed. Yes it looks in some way like zelda but more like just the barebones mechanic. The first thing i notice is the wide open space with nothing surrounded with some nice artwork. When comparing this to a top down zelda, i immiditley thing about all the stuff within a level, puzzle or dungoun. Goken is like as if they took the fun out of zelda but i can't say for sure, didn't play it.

It looks really empty and boring. Compare the first map here to the first level of the church or the first map square with enemies in Zelda. It's just too empty. Skip to about 5 minutes in since I can't timestamp with an embed.
