Picking up the card causes everywhere to be flood with higher level enemies that eat ammo really fast and move really fast. Does anyone know where the password is, or if it can be gotten before the keycard?

Pay attention to the notes in the area and try to guess the code if you can't figure it out. You can continue the game even if you fail to enter the correct code.

I got END 03 for Lycoris. It gave me NG+ stuff. Is it worth it to go through again with my extra stuff, or would I be better off trying to get other endings from one of my previous saves? Are the endings you get cumulative? That is, if I continue from NG+ and get other endings, does it keep track of all the endings I've gotten on the same save and give some reward for getting them all? If I start from an older save does it matter if it's before or after I call for help, since they blow up the island? Or can I just keep playing regularly as long as I don't go to the heliport?

I'm pretty sure that not going to the heliport after you call for help is actually necessary to get what may be the true ending where you fight the final boss. I know it made a difference for me between getting an ending just short of fighting the final boss and actually fighting it. I haven't beat it quite yet, though.

So I can get two different endings depending on whether I do that or not? Neato. Still, no reason to use NG+? Or will the supplies become necessary later? What the game gives you seems to be plenty, though I'm not sure if my ammo will last with all the enemies that show up after grabbing the keycard.

If you're going for what I assume is the real ending, you're going to want to use NG+. The final boss takes a lot of gunfire to kill. It may technically be possible to beat him with just a lot of pistol ammo and a little bit of magnum or shotgun ammo, but it would be a complete pain in the ass. There are two supply boxes before his fight that load you up on healing items and will give you a good chunk of ammo for every gun. Make sure you save two keychips for them. Even then, you'll definitely want the NG+ bonus ammo.
