I liked the mystery behind him as a character especially the beach episode where it was hinted he somewhat loved his family and wife since he took them on vacations and shit. I think we should have more off that and maybe something with Iroh and him as kids.I mean the episode could cover what you want as part of his backstory, but I think the biggest issue with Ozai is that he stays too much of a mystery until the finale. Like Azula is functionally his dragon but because we have no real connect to Ozai. Hence why most people consider the Final Agni Kai to be the emotional climax of the series and not the Ozai-Aang fight.
