If my interest in a video game hinges on whether or not there's a female playable character, does that make me a bad person?
I mean I can watch a MOVIE about a strong manly man doing manly things, but when it comes to video games I just can't bring myself to do it. I wanna play as a lass, and if it's not an option it makes me not want to play the game.

While i can play perfectly as a man if i get no girl option i will also default to girls on 90% of the cases and 100% if its a loli. Given they are not ugly as fuck. A good example of this exception is Dark Souls series where females simply wont look good in any almost any gear and the character chreator does not help at all to make cute girls. Altough i agree this fits with the overall setting of the game.
Also Best tv show OP. Shame Anna only git to appear on 1 episode.
