Combat mods for skyrim?

I played skyrim all the way back on launch, find it boring and never touched it again. It's amazing how bethesda keeps milking it and how people keeps eating it.
My question is - are there any mods that make combat less shit? Maybe turn it into something akin to dynasty warriors? Also is there a dedicated place with loli mods without SJWs overseers?

Bump?

The combat system is too tied up into everything, you can't fix something so fundamentally broken.
Not to mention the perk system which also needs an overhaul.
And the enemy AI needs to be less retarded if you want a good combat system.
And you need bette level design.
Again, you'd need to rebuild the entire game.

You can't fix the shitty combat, hell add spell mods, balance overhauls, and even dual-wielding it will still play like shit.

...

This is true, but you can try requiem if you want. It's better than the base game but it still has its own problems. Increases difficulty, changes perks, removes level scaling. As for your second question, have you tried this place?

It's the Dark Souls of Elder Scrolls!

Play Requiem as a pure mage add a bunch of mods that add new spells. It may not be balanced, but it can be pretty fun once your character is competent with spells. Using summoned monsters as bait to lure enemies into trap spells, meteor swarms to kill dragons/outdoor Reachmen encampments, throwing enemies around with tornados, duplicating enemies so they take more damage from AoE spells (at the cost of having their offense doubled.) and bunch of crazy shit.

On the subject, I got New Vegas vaguely enjoyable combat wise with Bleed, Deus Ex Spread, Real Recoil, Precision Ballistics and Munitions, Manual Reload, sprint and bullet time.

I'll guess I'll just make it a porn game then.

A: set music to OFF
This will make enemy ambushes far more "surprising" instead of you hearing combat music, getting your sword ready and killing the first enemy you see, even though they got the jump on you. Will also make dungeons so much more comfy.
B: locational damage
This mod basically allows you to make headshots instakills. Slashing arms can cause weapons to drop, and hitting their head can send their helmet flying (which allows instakills). You can tweak a lot, and change the percentage of critical hits to certain limbs. Really neat and should have been in the base game.
C: Uninstall Skyrim and place a different game
This will be actually fun, depending on which game you chose.

I found it really enjoyable after I installed the guns mod

Boy I sure fucking love the already tanky as fuck draugr but now they are 10 times tankier and also one hit you.

STOP PLAYING SHIT GAMES ASSHOLE

1. Use Silver weapons on them
2. don't fight them at level 1
3. git gud scrub

Requiem is the most autistic mod that makes the game borderline unplayable

...

Also were you running around in heavy armor without any skills in heavy armor? Sounds like it because in light armor I never ran in to that problem. Perks actually matter in requiem. Maybe if you would actually learn about what the mod changes instead of just calling it broken like DSP you might have a better time playing it.

T3nd0's skyrim redone is propably my favourite combat mod. Actually makes the combat feel OK since enemies are dangerous and can one hit kill your easily, but you can make your character really strong too to balance it out for a relatively fast paced combat where dodging and blocking is actually mandatory but you can wreck some shit if you build you character wisely.

Add some mods that add spells, weapons & armor for some interesting play styles.
And use the automatic reproccer patcher so the new weapons and armor function with perks. Or atleast should.

Skyrim's melee combat can be modded into something like Chivalry Medieval Warfare with mods like Ultimate Combat, or Wildcat if you're on Special Edition, however the animations in Skyrim are not perfectly synced with attacks, meaning that a timed blocking mechanic is more difficult because you will get hit a few frames before the enemy's weapon actually connects with you.

Combat Evolved greatly improves the combat AI especially in groups, and Attack Commitment makes it so you or the AI can no longer move your mouse while you attack so you can dodge AI attacks while forcing you to be accurate with yours. The combat is a lot better with all these mods but like I said the fact that the combat animations aren't perfectly synced with attacks makes the timed blocking mechanic of Ultimate Combat / Wildcat more difficult and somewhat random, which is a shame because timed blocking is pretty essential to the experience if you play with high damage.

All I see ITT are statistical/minor alterations attempted to rebalance existing combat system.
With mods clearly adding new animations and interactions like those loli sex mods, how is it not possible to make actually good combat animations and interactions?
Of course I'm not expecting anybody turning it into DMC, but really basic shit like Musou or No More Heroes combat should absolutely be possible.

If I recall right you cant edit first person animations, there are a set amount of them and adding / editing is not possible. Thats why you have a ton of mods that add third person melee moves, throwable spears and shit but no new first person animations.

If you've ever opened the geck for example you'll know that chaning statistics, model / material is pretty much all you can do, and that goes for pretty much any game they've made from fallout 3 to skyrim and everything else.

The best part about some of the combat mods is that they actually have a pretty good stat modifications and you can tweak shit like damage output and input with difficulty / mods if they're not to your liking, that added with the fact that most combat mods modify NPC behaviour in combat, thats the most crucial part, 3-4 enemies are actually pretty fucking dangerous when each can 1-2 hit kill you and they know they've got the numbers advantage so they try to rush you and attack aggresively.
If you've got a 1v1 with a shield guy he will propably play a lot more passively, opting to bash you when you try to attack and then counter after that.

So those exist after all? Which are the best ones?

Play a good ARPG, there are plenty to play.

The problem is that you cant add new moves, you can only replace animations. All 2handed weapons use the same animation set so you can have spears and they can have their own animations but then every greatsword or greataxe will also have those animations. There are some nice animations you can get but they add flavour not change.

Also the melee weapons are hitscan, if you play with immersive first person or the likes (third person anims in first person) it is very obvious that damage is done under the crosshair.

These factors really limit what you can do with it.

Play Daggerfall instead.

dont play TES games instead

just turn it into a porn game already
you already know about loverslab but here's your lolimod hub you fucking degenerate

That's a pretty shit complaint, tbh. Requiem's goal is admirable, since they're trying to make a de-leveled world like Gothic 1/2, which means there are obviously places you shouldn't go when you're low level unless you git gud. Not that I'd recommend playing Requiem (go play Gothic 1/2 instead), but again, the entire point is the de-leveled world.

M-More?

gas yourself

I don't like smelling my own farts, thank you!

here you go you lazy shit

OP, you only really need one mod: Auto-Potion.
It's a handy mod that uses Health\Magicka\Stamina potions when you need them automatically when you drop below 50% of that resource and can be configured to avoid wasting their effect as well.

Why do you need that mod? To realize that the fundamental problem with Combat in Skyrim is that there's nothing to do but whack your sword in someone's face while he does the same to you. Then you mitigate each other's damage with Armor (which is still the default % reduction, only disguised to pretend it's a bigger number) and then see who runs out of HP first.
Every single fight is a race to the bottom, the better your weapon the faster your foe goes down, the more HP the longer you last. That's it, that's all there is to it. You win the fight if you have better gear but if you don't, you can make up for it by having more HP potions (essentially increasing your max HP)

The only "advanced combat" trick to Skyrim is to perpetually hold your shield out until the AI tards out and attacks you, getting stunned and giving you the chance to hit it for free. Once they recover, assume the turtle stance again and repeat for an easy victory.

There's nothing you can do with combat in Skyrim, no disarms, no underhanded tactics, no parries or stamina management, you can't damage the equipment of your enemy or even dodge his attacks. And now, you can't even improve your Strength to increase damage or drain Agility to make him stagger more often.

There are mods that try to use some of these mechanics to the game, but do remenber that it's trying to put mechanics into an engine that can barely support them. TK Dodge looks amazing if you have the PC for it, otherwise it delay so much it's pointless for instance.
