Did you know that originally they were gonna let you choose between 4 player characters? Crane, Jade, that kid who dies, and Brecken. They decided to cut it out and just focus on Crane though, I guess so they put more into the story.

I love and hate the legend level system, too many times I've been close to leveling up only to die like an idiot and loose all my xp.

Those are minor avoidable issues, the things that really bother me about this game are:

I know they are "real" spawn points like they come out from under cars but there's too many of them everywhere and they only trigger when you're looking away, so in practice they're no different from zombies just materializing behind you every time you turn. It's annoying as fuck and serves no purpose, why go to the trouble of making so many "believable" spawn points and give them animations when the end result is the same as enemies just popping into existence behind you?

When you die you only lose a little experience and the worst part is that the gameplay is so inconsistent and messy this shitty slap on the wrist is actually needed to make the game bearable.

95% of deaths in this game are due to bullshit exploder spawns, it's perfectly reasonable to expect you'll only ever get killed by bullshit exploders and scripted events in the whole game.

All the parkour, avoidance mechanics, traps, etc. have no reason to be used because the regular zombies are too crappy and you can easily mow down hordes of them, this really kills all tension in the game and makes the most common enemy a constant annoyance rather than fun to deal with. Also by the end of the game you become so overpowered the whole thing just turns into "follow the quest marker without thinking".

I thoroughly enjoyed the game and its expansion

in early game its mirrors edge with zombies
in the midgame its green arrow with zombies
by the lategame youre basically chinese electric batman

what really rustled my jimmies was the QTE bossfight tho
