Justification of pirating

The way I see it pirating games is ok if the console has been discontinued, low on money or don't want to give money to a company that is being jewish. However if a game that is good comes out and you don't buy it, you're not supporting the company's good decision.

An example that I can think of is sonic mania. Lets say the majority of Holla Forums users are able to afford the game and are actually content with the company's decision yet they don't want to buy the game. My question is why? why won't you support good decision for the videogame industry?

No demo means I'll pirate my own demo

Go be a moralfag somewhere else tbh

1. Very few good games do come out
2. Any money going towards the games industry will only delay a hopefully inevitable crash
3. Some people are just poorfags
4. We've had this thread a million times

Don't try to have pirates explain their retarded reasoning, just take any version of "because fuck you that's why" and be done with it.

You're helping destroy the socialist infestation by starving them of the lifeblood of a functional society.

That's reason enough. Be Robin Hood, steal from the rich liberals and give to the poor NEETs.

i lige a bideo game for no monie :DDDDD

Robin Hood was a faggot. A patriot is a more apt analogue to pirates. You are obligated to disobey copyright laws if they benefit socialists.

That's not how this works

piracy is try before you buy
pirates are the largest spenders and are the most dedicated fans as well

Piratefags, everyone.

Not an argument

If you need to justify piracy to anyone then you're an insecure faggot.
I like free shit.
I can get free shit.
So I get free shit.
What are you going to do about it?

Nice try retard.

FUCK OFF COMMUNIST!

This. I'm an addict. What I can't afford, I'll pirate.

It's really a strange thing.
It's not theft, but the devs are expecting a return on their investment and there is no guarantee that it will happen, piracy or not.
If a game is shit or people do not know it exists, how can they buy it?
And yet if you pirate a game you are "taking away" a potential sale.

This is a good answer.
Justifying it is pointless.
Besides, what are all the poorfags like me going to do if they take away muh free vidya? It would be like taking away drugs from an addict, I'd go mad.
What would I do with my life? Go full Supreme Gentleman or something?

This thread needs to be shutdown

kill yourself

1) I like free shit
2) I like to work/wait for my free shit instead of being handed it right away
3) There's not a single developer/software house that I can trust even 50%; I can understand using scammy practices to get me to preorder/buy DLC/buy season passes/getting new consoles/subscribing to places, I can even understand pumping out soulless sequels, but I really, really can't put up with the myriad of broken promises and streamlining they've done with almost every game
4) I don't want to stay online to play games on single player, nor I want to go through a billion of hurdles in modding the game or having it constrained to a machine/console
5) Most releases in my favorite series are so barebones and lacking that they don't deserve their buy-in price, some I've stopped pirating even
6) On some occasions, I've also bought the full copy of the real deal when I was impressed enough, going as far as to buy it for other Steam using friends just to get them to enjoy it

OP here, the intention of this thread wasn't based off morals. I just wanted to understand why Holla Forums likes to constantly whine about video games not being good today and the lack of action being taken. Pirating is of your concern and is something I don't care about. But to those that want to "make video games great again" and not do anything about it is just incomprehensible.

The only way to make video games great again is to make them yourself and hope your taste and competence are good enough.

Reverting back to a time where video games were made as a hobby and not as a business. I can see how that can be beneficial since it will drive the normalfags off and the people left in this hobby will be the true enthusiasts. I for one welcome a videogame crash.

It was always a business, but not at the expense of quality.

here's my justification

fuck you. don't charge 60 dollars for a fucking game that you can LITERALLY COPY ENDLESSLY and sell for zero production cost after its been already developed.

making money off video games isn't bad, but if you don't make games with love then it is pointless

games are supposed to be fun

What's that?

bamp :D
