Got a good taste playing F.E.A.R. for the first time a few weeks ago. Now I want to John Woo some more.
Games to John Woo in?

Max Payne
Stranglehold. It's literally John Woo: The game.
All of the Max Payne games.
Specialists mod for Half-Life. It's a dead mod and dead community but you never know.
Superhot would be good for it if you could dual wield pistols and dive.
GTAV lets you enter bullet time with Michael.
True Crime/Sleeping Dogs have a good John Woo feel to them despite the lack of dual pistols.
I agree though. I've been wanting some more John Woo games for the past twenty years, ever since Action Quake 2.
...
True Crime 1 had dual pistols
Double Action Boogaloo, although it's probably dead by now
STRANGEHOLD
Jesus christ , I'm having PTSD just remember the fucking multiplayer in that buggy shit.'
WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT A MULTIPLAYER GAME WHERE EVERYONE CAN SONIC ADVENTURE THROUGH LEVELS WITH BULLET TIME WAS A GOOD IDEA?
Seconding Stranglehold, Max Payne, and the Specialists/Double Action Boogaloo. There's also a game called Wet, but it's basically a clunkier Max Payne. I hear Total Overdose has dualies and bullet time, but I've never played it so I can't say for certain.
Was just about to mention this. Also, there's the Dead to Rights series.
Okay, the flashbacks have stopped.
Total Overdose is actually fun.
WET is full Bethesda, buggy out of the box garbage with a QTE ending.
Edgy Proto-SJW Laura Croft wasn't even fun to play as.
Yeah Total Overdose is basically GTA in Mexico with fun firefights.
Only real issue iirc is that it's a bit on the easy side and there's a lot of side content that isn't that interesting.
Don't forget that you control one gun with the analog stick and the other targets enemies automatically.
The most infuriating part of the controls is actually how the bullet time works. It's only active while holding down the trigger during a jump or slide. Adjusting your aim for that shit, with a controller no less, is a pain in the ass. I haven't played it in like a year or so, but I'm pretty sure there was even open buttons on the controller they could've used for a dedicated bullet time function.
PSO2 has John Woo: The Class.
SMOD is sort of like FEAR as a gameplay conversion for Half-Life 2; there's that.
I'm also pretty sure Sleeping Dogs slowed down whenever you vaulted over something/jump kicked someone while having a pistol equipped.
True Crime 2 let's you bulletime with two miniguns, two shotguns, a shotgun and a pistol, a 45. cal pistol and a 9 mm pistol, etc. You can mix and fucking match.
You can actually attempt to get non-lethal shots with the minigun…And succeed before blowing the target to kibbles and bits.
If I renember right it allows you do the vult slow mo with any weapon. I haven't played it in any while though.
I'll second Sleeping Dogs. It allowed you to slow time after you vault or disarm someone and increases tequila time after a headshot or kill. It's a pretty solid game nonetheless though the melee is a lot like the bad ham games. It's one of those games that has love put into it as it pays quite a bit of homage to Chinese cinema.
Fernando Di Leo >>>>> John Woo.
I also heard that Woo ripped off Di Leo's style.
Now that I think about it GUN also applies as it has bullet time, jumping/rolling and gives you dual pistols.
The Punisher lets you dual wield most guns in addition to diving but lacks bullet time.
Man, I remember playing the demo for Total Overdose a million times over. I really need to pirate that. And also finish Stranglehold, even if I have a bone to pick with its design choices.
Stranglehold was pretty if didnt use the console baby crutches good but they fucked that game up by the using Unreal Engine, that engine looks like goddamn ass
I actually thought it aged decently, not on the merits of the engine but the autistic detail put into the textures. Very well done.
Anyone got a link for Stranglehold?
Is that "WET" game about being a semen demon? I might do the unthinkable and pirate it of course what kind of retard would give cash to bethesda?
(checked)
No it's a console exclusive TPS about generic plot #27563A, [Insert marketing bullshit here] revenge story or something like that.
...
oh
True crime has dual pistols though. Also you can jump around and enter bullet time.
It's kind of GTA meets max payne except it doesn't follow the GTA formula or the max payne formula, the similarities are mostly superficial.
It's a really good and underrated game.
If I remember correctly, Path of Neo had akimbo pistols, slo motion, and diving whilst shooting, but I don't remember the game being any good at all
If by John Woo, you mean slomo, then go with the suggestions here. If you want that kinetic, frantic style of meaty gunplay from John Woo films, go for Kane&Lynch2. It's easily the closest I've felt to being in a woo film. Just doesn't have the sliding unfortunately.
Who?
...
Look up fag, .
It's sad that fags here associate gimmicky bullet-time slomo shit with John Woo. Films like The Killer, Better Tommorrow, Hardboiled only used that slomo effect in rare instances. Most of it is fast paced and frantic.
There's Double Action Boogaloo now.
John Who?
Warframe with the Dual Grakatas
John Two
This is what I liked from F.E.A.R. Your quads speak truly
the worst game of them all with no slo mo WOW
Ha John Zero
I've been playing Wet recently myself. It's actually a pretty good game IMHO. Not perfect, but enjoyable.
The game is absolutely garbage on PC, but decent on an Xbox or PS2.

Not sure if there are torrents still available.

I'm disappointed none of you mooks even mentioned The Opera for Half Life.
Max Payne, Stranglehold, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger,
