When i first started playing Let it Die I would only play the first part of the game. Anything past that tutorial segment was so bland in comparison to those first 20 minutes. Once I stopped getting introduced to the characters and got to the actual game i just deleted my ps4 profile (didn't delete game data, went into the ps4 menu and actually deleted the account off the console), made a new one, and then booted up the game again because that 20 minute intro was my favorite part.

I have done this 6 times. Maybe that's a sign that they should have made it a more character/story driven game, because other than its great atmosphere, style, and lore it was a cheap shitty Souls knockoff with durability bars out the ass. You can't even physically invade other peoples' worlds, you send in your character controlled by an AI.

When ever I play an RPG type game, one that allows for character creation and allows for openworld mechanics (Any Fallouts, GTA, and Deus Ex) I pretend to be whatever character I am but almost always have the trait of a cerial killer.

For example: whenever I play New Vegas I create my person, imagine what thier back story is (standard RP stuff: oh, my character is a mechanic that has a fasination with computers and loves lazer weapon but totally retarded when it comes to talking to people and shitty with money so thats why they started being a courior)
But they always have a shit ton of stealth and murder as many people as they can to get away with it.

This same character/s then in cold blood murders the starting guy and every body in Newsprings after saving the town one by one totally undoing the objectives for that first settlement.

I don't know what it is. I'm a nice guy irl, get along with people, and I'm not an edgy teen. But there's something satisfying quetly murdering a whole town of happless npc's after just helping them from inpending doom. In hitman 4, there's a whole mechinic that the npc, when inpending doom is near, will get on thier knees and beg.

I love it and quietly and cooly blast them away with a silenced shotgun. Sometimes I fear that if I was in a different life Id be an Ed Gein type but stop worring when I realize Im just playing a vidjya.

Being shot in your limbs is extremely likely to kill you. Blood loss ain't no joke and if it's your upper legs or upper arms/shoulder areas there are huge blood vessels that will kill you very fast if punctured. There are extremely, extremely few places you can be shot with a round of respectable size and velocity and not be at extreme risk of death, and even with a smaller round there's still very few places that fit that description.

Considering how defensive you are, I can only come to one conclusion. That's a shame.

In MMOs, every character is merely an aspect of one character who is the chosen one of the storyline. These aspects merge in the epic battles and trials that groups of players face. As more players leave, the chosen one is slowly reduced to a husk, eventually culminating in his tragic demise to aging and depression, as his muscles melt into fat and flab, his armour wears down, his hair goes gray and his looks fade him. If the game goes down, he is fully dead. If it comes back somehow, either officially or unofficially, his corpse has been propped up and puppeteered by his last few friends in an attempt to relive past glory.

That's my problem with most of these rpg style games (in an inverse way). Anytime you want action, your character basically becomes a psychopathic murderer. But in real life, you CAN incapacate people with guns and still not kill them.

One thing I liked about GTAIV, you took people out but they still wiggled around on the ground and crawled away. I could tell myself, i'm not just a souless killer man, I'm giving them a 2nd chance at life.

DX is another series I complain about. You have to play stealth/tactical mostly non-lethal if you want to fit the character… Playing action makes you a douche.

I would play Kirby Super Star's Great Cave Offensive scenario as though I was a character just living in the world. I'd go hunting for "food", go to sleep at save points, defend my home area from monsters etc. I wouldn't bother actually finishing the game, just keep acting like I was a character in the game living out his existence.
