You have to remember that while the stuff in the games does literally happen that way, functionally it's all more or a less metaphorical combat. That being said, P5's group is the strongest since P2's, as Ialdoboath is higher up than Izanami on the celestial hierarchy, with Nyarlathotep, personifcation of yin itself being higher than both.

Finally picked up my slack and moved with the last day. That flu Reaper grind I did kinda killed any challenge this could pose. Tackling the final dungeon at Lv82 meant that 9/10 times, I'd kill the enemies with the ambush animation. I just wanted to fuse some good Personae but the damn things are too high leveled and the privilege to fuse higher level ones is too damn expensive.
Anyway, the first phase with the Seihai was quite interesting, even if scripted. Got me wondering that I fucked up but this seemed far too elaborate for a game over screen. The power of friendship (tm) crap is hammered in even harder than in P4 but I really liked that prison sequence where you have to get your crew together and it was interesting that the gang gets to see your Persona meth lab.

Lavenza, in particular, was very interesting. So, if you guillotine two lolis, you get a better loli.
Big dramatic moment but all I was thinking was MC screwing up the process and Lavenza coming out with a big pair of jugs. Now there's a good doujin premise.

Finally finished it. Clocked 160h. 3 S-Links undone (Haru, Iwai and Shinya) and pocket change because I burned it all on fusions (100K just to fuse Satan).

Final boss felt a tad underwhelming; admittedly, I was over leveled but the pacing itself was off, the fight is a parade of short-lived gimmicks that range from mildly interesting to dull, the same Almighty stuff as before and a boring SHOOP DA WHOOP (Izanami's Ghastly Wail on steroids was a much more interesting "ultimate").
And Atlus needs to keep reading because this "god of control" has a name that means "child of chaos". Though the idea behind was interesting and its presence felt much more justified which is why when I saw the public's belief drop to half in about 2 days, I couldn't help but feel the futility of it all, like he'll just be memed into existence again.
Speaking of the next days, Sae re-asserts herself as the THE cunt by asking MC to turn himself in on freakin' X-mas day. Bitch so thirsty for a promotion she won't even let the poor guy have a bloody day off. That part, I can say I never saw it coming but what followed was pretty heartwarming. Again, I like how the game has several moments where the confidantes appear and this last one is very meaningful (Ohya, especially, put in some serious hard work).

I played P3 FES and a little bit of P3P, and I'm wondering which one is considered to be the better version.
P3P doesn't have a 3D world and is often accused of being too easy, so would that make it inferior?

FES is better.

FES has anime cutscenes, 3D models that don't look as shit, and a post-game mode that wraps up the story of P3. P3P adds a female protagonist with some different social links and the ability to control your party members like in P4 (which is why it is considered the easier version, along with having a ton of easy difficulty modes) and doesn't include the post-game.

P5 was fucking awful, you cunts lied to me. Halfway through the game, sick of hearing the same obvious plot points explained 6 times before, 8 times during, twice after in overbearing tones I passed the controller. Shit went on for a whole week in some places. gf finished it due to her powers of tism and every time I looked over, it was only worse.

Speaking of the dual audio, it does feel tacked on. It disregards some things like tv stations in animated cutscenes, whatever the hell Futaba and Makoto say when checking enemy data, whatever Mona says at the end of fights and sometimes very big text boxes immediately disappear because of how the text is structured in Japanese (this one is mitigated by the log option).

Another random tidbit I forgot to chime in is Sae's S-Link. I can't complain because it jumps from 6 to 10 but that didn't seem properly thought out given there's tons more events after the foiled assassination where that S-Link could rank up.

Yeah, the dual audio isnt perfect, but its somthing, and if you know a decent amount of jap you should be able to follow the unsubbed stuff ok.

The whole psycho thing really made me feel like something was missing ( ), it really felt out of place, every character's trait accompany him through the game, through the s. links, mementos and so on. Haru is a innocent gardener who feels insecure about her massive heritage, and also indicates large amount of empathy since her dream involves making a chain of coffee with "handmade with love" standards (as opposed to industrialized fast food of her dad), but in mementos and clearly by her weapon choice she seems like some homicidal maniac, there's also hint in the valentine's day where her reaction doesn't correspond to her facial expression.

Also, is good to remember that she initially appear as your rival but the tension resolves itself before any conflict happens (a clear missed opportunity to deprive you from mementos and make you miss Morgana mechanically), maybe in the cut content she was going to dispute the dungeon with you siding with cuckcat (excellent opportunity to make a dynamic due date thing) . When she finally joined you, that was going to make her one of the main suspects for the treason thing.

Sega has made allot of quality translations and luckily it was them that took their open arms to Atlus/index company and acquired them.
They still have a really Jewy practices like re-release of a game or remake for nothing else than shekels.

I'm just comparing to P4, the weight of the plot twist is way higher when you are forced to figure it all out by yourself. I mean, I didn't even need to know who was the traitor to get to true route, I was just roleplaying lots of forgiveness. Since in my head at the time, the traitor was someone who got desperate in the invasion and sold everyone out on despair, since I didn't have anyone to suspect so hard

The writing style in 5 is really inconsistent with regards to the traitor. It seems it was meant to be a ~mystery~ at first, but they gave up halfway through for being too similar to P4 or something. Then they made the traitor more obvious and made the twist being that the traitor was rused all along and played like a fiddle. I've never even considered the possibility of another traitor besides pancake man, so I was just curious how the team would get out of their situation.

This was all fine and dandy, but the sequence in the interrogation room still makes it like the identity of the traitor to be revealed as a big fucking mystery and all that which doesn't make a lot of sense since it is kinda obvious. So, yeah, pretty inconsistent and showing signs of major rewrites constrained by time pressures.

its not supposed to be a mystery, like adachi, everyone knows 15 minutes into the game adachi is the killer. the plot twist of 4 is that Namatame is the one that throws all of your party members into the TV, not that adachi was the killer of the reporter and Konishi Saki.

I think that is the very impact that makes it so worthwhile, I don't think you give much thought on the subject, you spend most of the game "collecting the pieces", your mind is not on the verdict phase (because you think you can't make one yet), but the game never forces you to achieve any conclusion this whole time, and when it finally does, you realize you are more lost than ever, and then it clicks, it was there all along under your nose, it's a beautiful sensation and wouldn't work if it was something really obscure.
