It's been my (and a couple of friends') experience with Nu-tendo for a while after the Wii. I bought the 3DS but I have basically only a couple of games and they're not even first party. They went full good goy and got Wii U and Switch and have only a handful of first party titles they could have waited just short of a year to play in quasi good quality.

There's Mario Odyssey later and pretty likely is a MonHun 5/5 Ultimate next year. Also a handful of digital titles that're worth it, I rather liked Fast RMX as a not-F-Zero.

What is that good about arms? It's only getting attention because is one the few Nintendo's new IPs, but plays like the heaps of shovelware the wii had, fun with friends for like 2 hours and that's it.

Did you play Arms? I liked it, something strangely enjoyable about just the way it felt to control your character with the motion controls, and I enjoyed how strategic it felt, I really didn't enjoy that it was mostly single player because I got trashed on the second weekend.

I can't see that. It's really about timing your punches, covers and grabs with the opponent's recoveries, which is not hard to do because the game is fairly slow (I'm spoiled by GG though). It didn't fell like I was making hard decisions.

It actually looked better than I thought it would be, I was indeed surprised, but Ubisoft games look better in the trailers, and it's normally not exclusively the graphics that look better.

You didn't think there was much work in positioning and thinking about when to throw your punches or when to pull a rush? The game at least seemingly has some nice collision detection, I've seen some pretty cool moves by more skilled players, one with Ninjara dodging every attack in a rush by blinking between them, one with Helix just dodging all the attacks thrown at him and weaving like a pro, I think it really just needs the players to have some skill to really start properly judging it.

It's well made, it feels good to control and as you say the collision detection is good. But I don't think it has the "meat" to deserve all the praise. I can't help but think "If this exact same game was released on another console (wii, ps3 w/ move, x360 with kinect) by a no-name developer nobody would care about it at all".

Fire Emblem Warriors, really.
You can't fuck up a Musou if you stick with the formula and give it a spin depending on the borrowed franchise, and I trust Tecmo in not fucking it up, despite the maximum kikery when it comes to DLC. Even more because Musou are mindless grinding games, that's their thing.
On the other hand, Hyrule Warriors kinda avoided the current year Nintendo bullet, so it had a more or less decent story (again, there's no way you can fuck it up if you stick to basic Zelda and Musou standards), and sexy bitches, with Cia wanting Link's cock desperately, but they've been doing a stellar job at fucking with Fire Emblem, so I'm expecting awful voice acting, Shadow Dragon/Awakening/Fates overrepresentation and PICKLES XD tier script, instead of leaving it at standard ´´conquer evil kingdom/oh shit dragons´´ Fire Emblem story. And you know fully well that they'll include Heroes characters and ´´lore´´.

Not only the OCs, but almost all the Awakening and Fates heroes use swords. So much for not having sword users, there. They could've put the fapbait ara sister to spice it up with axes, if they want nuFire Emblem so much. Or faggot bow brother, seeing how goddamn popular he is.

I'm fearing it will only have characters from these games, and older Lords and popular characters will be DLC because their artwork clash too much with this dull art direction. And they might not even get story at all, just generic conquering/defeat lines.
