All three are sandbox type games. Gold doesn't exist in albion online from mobs, everything is player made and sold on local markets, so you can have actual trade caravans be raided since prices differ naturally depending on distance from resources or whatever because people will sell flax at flax surrounded markets and then traders can pic that up, and drive it to the north where there's shitloads of iron and metal but no plants. Players and guilds battle for territory and thereby resources for which they can develop tools, weapons, structures, furniture or whatever else and sell it on the market, or just stealth-loot shit in a fully open pvp world with safe zones, yellow zones, and drop-all-loot-on-death zones. Also there's dungeons. The Repopulation is a modern re-envisionment of Star Wars Galaxies, so just look that up. Peria Chronicles is a sandbox MMO with sometimes entirely pointless abilities that let you manipulate the world around you. The focus isn't entirely on combat or anything like that, and there's a huge emphasis on player/world interaction. For instance, at the start of a server, buildings don't exist. They eventually spawn/generate around players and where they naturally congregate over time. If you set up camp in some random fucking shithole over and over again, a shop may eventually spawn there, or some other building. See the trailer for this. Since it's taking certain things from Mabi, it's probably taking the good things, I.E, randomized dungeons with infinite loot combinations or otherwise depending on what you sacrifice on the dungeon altar, loads of non-combat activities that don't suck or are afk bait grind shitshows, and a non-tab-targeted combat system to boot. Abilities that let you spawn grass, make holes in walls and other seemingly pointless stuff tend to add credibility to the notion that the gameplay will be beyond that of a themepark.

To sum them up.

We'll see about albion. As far as I can tell, the economy's been properly set up but it's not fully functioning yet. Alliances have been made but it's less of having trade organizations and more of just large-scale territory wars for region alliances. They'll probably need a lot more backstabbings or political conflicts before trade becomes something real and fleshed out.

Okay, here's the basic gist of the setup. It's an extremely rough draft.

That's basically the setup. The story will revolve around the MC and the crew he's a part of to figure out what happened when they crossed the event horizon, what point in time they're in (earth time at least). One of the bigger twists would be:

One of the big things I wanted to implement too was a wide array of romance options. I'm talking at least 15 possible candidates for the MC to woo. So far, i've only got 2. A wolf girl and a tomboy human. The person MC woos would have a form of impact on the way the story plays out, leading to a different ending with each girl. I've also considered there being a TRUE ending that can be achieved regardless of which girl you woo, but could only be achieved after clearing the game once. The kicker being that during the first playthrough, the girl you're wooing gets murdered/killed. It was with this I wanted to implement the world lines/parallel dimensions thing, having the MC RETAIN his memories of the death of the one he loved, and the events of the previous playthrough. The idea being to set things right/the way the MC sees fit for the second go-through.

Combat is basic as hell. It's kind of like a moba because you've got a couple abilities that you can equip based on your items, because your skills are acquired from slotting your items properly or otherwise which gives you a lot of versatility but a limited combat scope. So essentially you've got your auto attacks and 3-4 abilities, so think runescape or a moba but with some pizazz and metagame.
