My only complaint is the Volume of cheaters cheating it takes time for the system to make updates to itself. Although I can't really complain since it pointed out to me that most competitive snipers cheat.

Plenty. If you're willing to purchase them it's really easy to cheat for months. Only time I cheated in CSGO was with a public cheat released brand new, that's your best shot for cheating for free, get brand new cheats from MPGH released a day ago and cheat until anyone reports a ban. Some redditors make fake cheats on popular forums like MPGH and UnknownCheats that get you banned instantly, but it's pretty uncommon.

Of course, always. It can never be perfect. Like copy protection, cheat protection will always be circumvented.

Every now and then some stupid egotripping kid goes all out, proving some cheats are still working undetected. Though annoying, those kids aren't a real problem. It's the assholes who are subtle with their cheats who are. The ones who won't make obvious perfect shots through walls from different rooms, but who adjust their timings and routes to always have a small, but usually enough advantage. You can never prove it with those guys.

If a system prevents at least reduces the amount of these people by some significant number than it's better than nothing. I don't know about the false positives though, but I assume those are still usually caused by people running special software (like beta drivers, or voice overlays), which should be quite easily rectified, so.. small price.

I had cheats I couldn't get working so I left them off. Hours later in the same day I swiped left on the mouse and got 3 headshots point blank with the bizon. 2 CTs were camping the mid doors on Dust2 and I ran through after a smoke and swiped them both headshots. I guess they reported me so when the system scanned me I was VAC'd. I've been banned from CS:GO for 3 years now.

Sucks because I want to sell my guns because I'd get at least $35 bucks by this point. Yes I think it needs revision because you can't get valve employees who know english on a valve server. You should be able to say "yo hax" and someone who isn't a pajeet gets on and goes "lol banned" because they 1)know the game 2)know english

VAC is garbage and can be bypassed pretty easily.But once you bypass it you're pretty safe and can use hax as much as you want.
Also the faggots that get VAC banned usually use shity made detected public hax.

The best anti cheat out there currently is BattlEye since there is no way to bypass it without getting b&.
Second best anti cheat is Fairfight. You can still bypass it but once you start cheating in the game the server usually picks you up pretty fast and then you get b&

even condition zero models were often not allowed

I've never played on a server that had issues with my skins. The only thing I remember being explicitly banned was stuff like neon player skins for stuff like scrims, but scrim servers would always have sv_pure on anyway.

There's no linux port of VAC but you can play your VAC-enabled games and servers on linux. Basically you can cheat without possibly getting caught just by using the linux version of VAC games with linux versions.
