I realize this is a stupid question but have you played Transformers: Devastation? It's not as god tier as DMC but it's really fun and really replayable.
Other than that I have nothing to recommend to you besides a couple of 2D games that are sort of DMC like, Rainblood Chronicles and ICEY. Maybe Kung Fu Strike might be your thing but it's pretty shallow mechanics wise, its difficulty comes from mastering the large amounts of bullshit being thrown at you.

It's basically both carefree fun for the majority of people playing and something where autists can sink a large amount of time to get their diamond rank or esportshit.
