Remember that one thread where I said Nintendo was in a transitional phase, and if Mario stopped becoming as profitable, their focus would have them prioritize competitive games, and they would keep finding other ideas to expand their gaming empire, ultimately becoming the Disney of videogames?
This is what I meant. I personally don't give a shit about competitive autistry, but I feel like it's all downhill from here. It's been downhill since the gamecube era, but this is really down hill. Profits will skyrocket, but quality will get chucked into the abyss.
