I mean how does a game that looks like that get all the way up to a 16GB installation size? And compared to the other 3 games below it, it requires 2 more GB of Ram to run it and it can't run on something older than Windows 7 like the others can. I'm sort of stumped a game like that requires that much more out of your PC because it doesn't really look the part IMO.
I'm still trying to figure out how games bloat their PC requirements
Uncompressed audio, HD movies, and high resolution sprites/backgrounds are what can bloat a game's size. But the uncompressed audio can take up a large chunk of space on a game.
Most people just put minimum as the weakest PC they tested on, which is in no way representative of the truth
HDD size specifically is just inflated because of the unpacking process on top of using loads of uncompressed assets to begin with.

ITS HUGE
THAT MEANS IT HAS HUGE CONTENT
...
it's HD movies with obscene bitrates so that they don't display compression artifacts, a 1 minute scene can take up to 1 gb, as i discovered in MK X. that game must have at least 25 GB of only movies,
i don't know what retarded Brazilian with 56kbps internet came with the idea that the size was an antipiracy measure. I live in a rural are in a shitty country and the service goes from 10mb minimum all the way to 200mbps
RIP AND TEAR!
I remember reading that Vanquish has 16 gb of video and only 2 of actual game.
