is it possible to reverse a confidante in P5? im on NG+ already and maxed 17 out of 21 links in the first run, but i dont remember seeing any reply that made me enough of a cunt to reverse one of the relationships, kinda feels like they made the SLs easymode in this game.

Since we're on the subject, what evidence was there that there was anyone other than the current translators ever working on P5? The translators listed in the credits have almost all worked on previous SMT/Persona titles, and several of them worked on both P3 and P4, so I'm not sure why Atlus would ever have even considered changing that.

There isn't much besides the translation of the early game being worse than the rest. It's entirely possible they hired new translators to speed up the translation process so the game could release quicker, the translation quality from the new translators was terrible and they quickly removed them and tried to patch things up, resulting in the delay from February to April.

Yeah. The battle menu is also a lot more intuitive and adds some commodities like R1 to pull out a Persona that targets a enemy weakness. There's also tons of little extras in daily navigation like seeing the S-Links available in a area and if they'll rank up. My personal favorite is probably all the VR stuff. All that said, the game goes into auto-pilot for very long periods of time; hope they remedy that in P5C.

My memory might be blurry but I'm very inclined to say this game feels shorter than vanilla P4.
P4 takes ages to properly start and while P5 gives you full control much earlier, it also takes it away a lot more frequently. But again, my memory of P4 is fuzzy.

I noticed that the wording on Ailments was that they hit most of the time if they're single target. With an Ailment Boost to Brainwashing, I could see it being horrifyingly effective.

On that note, I found myself keeping Dormina on Ann for practically the entire game because of how effective it was in some harder battles (like fighting Anubis' no weakness having ass).

Overall, this palace feels like its designed to avoid as much fighting as possible (despite having a shitload of narrow mazes).

I've been very lucky with all my King Frost encounters as I managed to hit him forget before he could do anything. Still takes ages to kill.
Ailments seem to be the golden rule for engaging enemies without weaknesses.

For the most part, it's not my character that raises risks.

Generally, I figure that's the point you break out things like Down Shot or high Critical chance attacks (Like One Shot Kill paired with the Trigger Happy Skill). I found that a lot of the battles that would be a slog to fight to completion become more manageable when you can simply hold them up and take shit that way. Saves a good deal of SP and items in the end.

I guess if you genuinely love her then yes it is possible. At the very least she didn't cuck you and then have the other guys child atell the while telling you it's yours.

This is what I wanna know, I would be open to trying the game out so long as that shit isn't enforced on me.

I've been trying to be a SP Jew as much as I can but this place is crawling with enemies without weaknesses or "esoteric" ones that require I pull out my Personae. There's those items that deal guaranteed elemental damage but I save those for when I'm in a pinch.
Restarting today, I'll say it was mostly my exhaustion and frustration talking. The palace takes ages to clear and every goddamned sub boss could have been avoided if my merry band of autistic morons kept their traps shut.

Cleaner needs to be in P5A though.
