I think Katapillar is pretty great attacker. Nothing special, but that barrage is probably one of my strongest skills, dealing 400-500k damage even with my shit grid if the honor received can be used to reference to total damage.

Some character's scores are based on synergies with other characters, grids you can make for each element and how each character compares to others.
Drang is 9.5 because he pairs up well with Altair. He's around 9.0 as an offensive support.
Ayer is 9.5 because after having a full earth grid and access to DA/TA buffs he can hit like a truck with his basic attacks after charge attacking the lower his HP becomes. Until then he's probably a 8.5 to 9.0.
Izmir lost in score because Silva heavily outclassed her.
These are some examples that come to mind.

New to the game, trying to farm Prismaprawns but goddamn some of them die in less than one minute and I cant get rewards. Is farming events normally this annoying?

It just got worse because ougi animations can be skipped.

this event has a very low hp boss, but most raid events like this die pretty quickly. If you played the xeno ifrit boss, that had a lot of hp and lived for long enough. The bosses should be easier to tag during the second half of the event when most high level players have farmed everything they need from it.

You should focus on starting your own raids whenever you can. Just start one, do as much damage as you can before you die and then call for backup.

I haven't found the option yet.

Go for the Queen Bees, they have more HP and you'll have more of a chance to get a few hits in before they die.

Also, try your best to farm mats to host the raids yourself. The host gets extra goodies in the drops.

no. You get crystals in game from quests and events. Just save them up. You can get around 9000 on average per month, so 3 10 draws

Just do the story, grind events, make sure you log in every day, and you'll eventually rack up a full 3K crystals.

We just did our first ever purge of inactives. The people three of them removed had over three weeks to log in and play. One faggot clocked in at 90 days I like to give people a chance to come back but with the crew filling up it's a very valuable slot being taken up that isn't being otherwise used.

What's this thing about Bahamuth Battle (Tentative)?

That Baha raid is a new HL raid. It seems to be a combination of Bahamut and Lucifer. It's coming in July with only two difficulties, normal and hard. The mats you get change on each difficulty so because the other difficulties aren't going to be released yet we won't know what we get from the harder stuff. This Baha is going to be multi-element like Sandalphon but the interesting thing is that it's going to have Light and Dark resist.

From what google translate says, aside from the things you mentioned it seems like HL magnas are getting an increase of player limit from 18 to 30, something about GWs I think and how crews can promote from tier C to tier B and then tier A if they qualify in top 50 of their tier, and some "fire festival" rerun that the game had around the time it started.
There's also a feature I can't really understand in regards to GWs. Something about toggling on/off some contribution thing if you fight in a raid someone else from another crew started.

That last GW change is a bit weird because what i'm getting is that crews get 50% of the honor from public raids instead of nothing if you turn that option on. I don't see why you would not turn that option on. I might be wrong but that seems to be the general idea.

That's what I understood too. Seems like they make changes so that early-mid grid solo crews get slightly nerfed each month. First was the GW dagger and now halving contribution from joining other player's raids.
At them same time it probably means those full grid luchas won't join that often anymore to 1 shot bosses that I host. This won't affect them personally that much since they will find some ways to keep getting honors at the same rate as before.

I think you are misunderstanding this. It used to be that when you join a public GW raid and get some honors, it would only count towards your individual ranking. With this new change, 50% of those honors will go towards your crew regardless of who hosts the public raid as long as you get the honors. This means you'll probably see more Luchas in the future.

I think that only applies during finals. In prelims I'd host my own raids and see how I can handle them. And then during strike time I'd join and wanpan in order to upkeep my solo crew's SS grade.
Crews already have meat factories for finals. Only in prelims I had trouble getting honors by joining. The light GW was probably the only exception because S. Zoi exists and may's legfest had her in the gacha.
If this change does affects both prelims and final days then indeed it does mean some luchas might join if their crew runs out of meat or something wrong happens with their plans (crew members missing, drama etc.)

Everything they've said about Draphs makes them out to be cows. If they were demons they wouldn't look so normal and the only animals (at least that I know of) that have horns like that isn't nearly as popular or well known as working animals as Cows/Bulls.

I was under the impression Japan's scoring is about their desirability due to what they bring to the player, not just party synergy. Thus, certain characters are so good they can go in every party (like Zooey, or Korwa, the latter mentioned earlier since she and Scatcha are both wind, so in a sense they are competing for ranking position in the same element) gets the top scores.
The other reason that would hold Scatcha back is that her kit isn't so great off-element (power seeker is hella stronk in enmity grids, tho), and she's best when fighting against earth.

their rating system isn't THAT retarded, 10s are only 10s BECAUSE they can work in every off element party. 9.5s and lower are only expected to work well within their element.

They don't rank, they give a character a score based on their criteria, which is retarded and they don't actually follow it anyway so it's somewhat pointless. But if I were to try and fathom their thought process, put it through their scoring criteria, the only flaws i can find with her are that she requires a tiamat bolt grid and that her enmity nuke has a relatively long CD (that is, relative to Gawain)

no. Something I thought wrongly was that the class weapon you pick will unlock its associated tier 4 class. It doesn't. So it doesn't matter which weapon you make, it's unrelated. Either make something that you may find useful, or make Ascalon, the easiest class weapon to make (lowest co-op resources needed and you can buy the SSR sword from the casino for cheap that reduces into 200 sword stones)

If it's only R characters you're after, keep doing the free daily rupee draws (10k rupees per day). That's how I got erune jew and loli draph. Slimeblasting on weekends will fix the rupee problems when you're running low, and even if you don't pull characters you'll get plenty of leveling fodder and +1s out of it. .

You either buy a mobage card for a markup or you use an android emulator that can use google playstore and pay less by paying for grancoin.

As said before, if you really want to spend money and have a sort of sense that what you spent wasn't just a fucking waste, buy either surprise ticket, which comes around whenever cygames feels like, or the start dash.

Both of these options will allow you to PICK an SSR (or if you're so wasteful, an SR or R, but obviously this is not recommended), rather than bet on a 3/6% chance for a random SSR and get metaphorically punched in the nuts.

There's a lack of non-human/erune characters in general. Harvins, for instance, only have a single non-eternal 5* SSR upgrade and it's Charlotta who has one of the worst ones because it does ver little. There's also the SR clown but he's not even worth mentioning really. If you were to count Primals and "none" races as one, they would only have 2 5* upgrades among them.
There has been a push for more characters of other races in general but because of all the new rereleases of characters, that has slowed down as well. The game used to be almost exclusively humans and erunes. There were some draphs and harvins thrown in but humans were, and still are, the most prevalent race.

Humans and Erunes sell the most with new characters, and Harvins the least by far. So of course if they want to make money they'll avoid Harvins.

Japs have such shit taste.

If you don't plan on 5-staring a GW character, you can trade them in for Damascus Bars, since you need 10 crystals in the upgrade process. If your not going to use the Damascus bars anytime soon, there is nothing wrong with keeping them separate until you need the bars.

So I'll safe them for now until I spark Katalina. Her weapon is the one I want to uncap the most. Currently I doubt I'll be doing the 5* GW character anytime soon since I'm yet to be pass the first stage since I keep using my merits for uncapping.

Work on the grinding anyway. Decide what element you want the GW weapon to be and do a bit of the material grinding when you have an opportunity.

It's the shop step that's going to fucking hurt. Everything else (but blue sky crystals and surpreme merits) I have an ass load of.

Why skill level 3? 2 is far more simple to use. 1xSL2 SR gets an SSR from 1 -> 2
2X SL2 SR gets an SSR from 2 -> 3 etc.

There is a single fire katana that can do non elemental damage with swordmaster if you have absolutely nothing else for slimebusting but that is the only possible exception. Even then its pretty shit.

What's the fastest method to farm prestige pendants? Just leech off Imp/HL raids?

leeching wont do you well as you need to hit a certain honour point to get all 20 prestige points. Either fight the HL omega that you have the best on element team for, or farm RQ and get the RQ weapons along the way

What I do is I use Sidewinder's unique subskill after I drop the damage skills to get 4 R characters on the front in the first turn. 32 bonus pendants easy and may 5-6 from contribution.

Either you'll get a omega dagger next week that will help you out a bunch or you'll learn that being a water main is suffering because KMR hates water even more than he wates wind.

Pretty good starting draws. You could focus on an early water team with Silva, Katalina and soon Io. Also I suggest using proto-bahamut as main summon until you get better summons that passively affect the damage of the element you team is predominantly.

my main also always have a water element weapon, and right now i'm trying carbuncle as a summon, it helped me a lot on the last quest (a lv15 fire dragon on the first island).
