There is also elona custom coded by someone named annabannana which adds a TON of quality of life stuff and adds the story back in, you can get it here. Mind you, custom is a version or two behind the main download, but some fag says he has a repository of older elonaplus versions if you scroll way down in the comments tab. Oh and has roguelike gameplay, but no permadeath and the ability to kinda do what you want from farm and cook food, to whoring your self you for the sweet sweet gold, to raising a little girl as your pet, and getting pregnant from drinking from fountains. Its kinda grind heavy, but I enjoy it.

latest version is 1.68, though the dropbox only has 1.67 for some reason. The Unofficial Elona Custom guy somehow has 1.68. Skill trainers increase potentials by 100% per session, you get extra food when cooking at levels 100 and 200, flying scrolls are much more common.

feats that give stats or skills are a terrible idea, go for something you can't pick up with 5 minutes of grinding. Race matters a lot, choose which archetype you want to go for. Fairy for mage Golem for fighter.
