I've been trying to play the demo for this game over the past two days. Aside from the constant crashing and stuttering and generally bad performance, the game itself is pretty underwhelming. I doubt any of those difficulty options will make a difference, although they might make a 'no-special-ability' playthrough somewhat worthwhile, but that's only if the player goes out of his way to handicap himself. Even without supernatural powers, the enemies are shit at fighting and can be easily parried and riposted or shot to death.

Maybe they should make the game more stable instead of worrying about knobs and dials that don't do much to impede a competent player's ability to play their game.
