This arc kind of sucks until the end. Don't worry about your commentary though. The usual talemaster was kind of phoning it in last time, even having posts with no remarks at all. You're doing better. He must have been tired.

I was able to keep my interest in the other two just fine despite rereading them. something about this one just lacks the magic of the other two. I'm a broken record at this point, but it being a near 1:1 copy-paste of dbz without any crash OCs for 75% of it kills this crossover.

It was one of the longest ones, can't really blame him for getting tired. Just let me know if it gets cringeworthy.

I think I know what the problem is with this comic compared to the others. It's supposed to be Crash with dbz in it, not dbz with Crash in it. Maybe the cthulu pikachu is melting my mind, but that's my realization.

According to the wiki, the original game had an evolo-ray made by N. Brio to evolve wildlife to sentience. Which isn't far off from the master race spiel from one of the earlier Retold villains. I can't believe I'm becoming a loremaster for this shit too.

I'm not entirely sure what was going on with ganondorf in the tank, but Mewtwo and Bowser really didn't think the crown thing through.

To be fair, there is a million different Smashers he could use for this reveal. Ganondorf is simply one of many, and it's not obvious that he'd use him.

He's using villain smashers for this, so I'd argue it narrows down the list a ton. Maybe I'm just sick of ganon after all these years. You'd know who would be a really good fit for a Buu epoxy? King Dedede. That would require the author to draw something difficult, so it's a no go.

That's funny, the pace is the one thing he didn't rip from DBZ, instead it's the opposite problem. DBZ moves at a glacial pace but it gave serious weight to the fights at least. But here, absolutely nothing matters.

Yeah, but they tried to play it up in certain parts like they're weren't coming back, like when freiza blew up krillin. There's been one scene like that in this comic, but even then you know they haven't died yet, so they can be revived.

You did good dude. The only improvement would be timing. Sunday night is not exactly prime time. Also, hype up the hype moments more. Megamix's glorious entrance and panel was just quietly introduced, with no lead-in, and passed just as quietly. Moments like that deserve more.

I'll definitely keep to friday night to start these. I just didn't want to steal the thunder of the other talemaster, so I was waiting on him to make the move all weekend. Since I'll have more prep time for future storytimes, I'll work on getting the pacing down. Maybe write some stuff down in advance so I'm not scrambling for something to say every post and missing the best parts.
