GAS THE KIKES
RACE WAR NOW

WHITE POWER

La Plata

Does anybody have any idea how to Westernize as the Aztecs in MEIOU EU4?
I picked the culture idea group but there's no indication except that I have to have innovative ideas which I can't even pick.

La Puta

Why the fuck does Italy hate me? Because I'm a monarch? I actually want to side with them to see what happens but they'd probably end up picking a fight then siccing the rest of Europe on me.

What game?

La Migra

Almost forgot to say, it's superpower 2.

Thanks, the option to nuke Israel made me curious.

Daily Dose

Have you fuckwads mess around with MEIOU 2.0's beta? Does anyone know why the fuck expanding bureaucracy does nothing at all?

Give me a link and I'll try it out.

mediafire.com/file/9bpv3lg9jl597dm/M&T_v1.99.01.7z

it should fire an event that'll give you +1 to either meritocracy or governance every 3 years. It takes a while to fire, though

So, I was curious, what are some mechanics that could be introduced to prevent player blobbing and make late game actually challenging in GSGs?

having a good AI. In EU3, if you get into a war, all those nations you wronged in the past or who want a piece of your territory tend to dogpile on you, hoping for a blitzkrieg while you're occupied. That alone makes expansion more difficult. To improve upon this, you could further improve upon it by allowing nations join foreign wars in return for a few promises from war leader, such as giving them their cores if they win the war. Late game, this'd leadd to essentially world wars, as if two blobs clash, all the many nations that were wronged by either pick a side

MEIOU and VeF already have them, although they implement them seperately. VeF measures the actual capability and competence of your government to integrate annexed lands, among others things, and MEIOU applies hard geographic limits on expansion and theoretically allows small and efficient states to stand up to unholy blobs.

Anyone here playan Distant Worlds? I tried it years ago, just got into it again. It's pretty addicting.

Never actually got into a grand strategy game before. I'm just fucking around in an easy-mode galaxy to get used to it.
Space jews are the best race, of course.

And what does those due? Does it increase the CE between provinces? Also, it said it added 1.5 urban gravity to my province and yet I didn't notice any change at all. Is that actually going to occur in 3 years?

The fucking bees man.
Hyper aggressiveness in the early game, and then with my absolutely behemoth population, I just build wonder after wonder from all the tax income I'm getting.
Not anything to interesting, but I made an alliance between all the bugs and the Shakturi.
I noticed that ship design is absolutely retarded when you leave it on automated, practically not even upgrading the ships, so you have to do it all manually. Seriously, it's fucking dumb as shit.

Humans
Rush tech and obliterate savages
Cant remember, i played it like year ago
Just play it

Securans
rush tech, micro all my designs, use republic govt
Losing is fun. Shakturi came while I was engaged in a major conflict. They built up while I was busy at war. After post-war recovery, I join my allies against them, only to have all my spaceports blockaded simultaneously. :-/

by doing ▲ you learn that the automation feature is a terrible gimmick (except for economy ones) and the only way to win is to play it like space dwarf fortress

Remove Roach as soon they re-arrive. They up-tech so fast like your 12yo brother playing the game with the cheat mode enabled.

...

Based Erdogan

Kill yourself, turkroach.

I have a little kebab problem. Any suggestions? I wanna root them all out, but I don't know who their leader is.

Is the 'hunt apostates' chaplain action enough to remove a secret society? Because I have a Paulician secret society of my own and I kinda wanna have the monopoly on secret societies, plus I find islam to be abhorring.

Shut up. Turks are white and based

what this about? and where in real life?

You need to go back to Turkmenistan

I respectfully disagree

Are there any based political parties in Iran? I want to play secular muslims in CWE mod for Victoria II.

depends on what you consider based. If you just want a party that hates jews, then the current theocracy in Iran has you covered.

Hating jews is nice but I would prefer something more like SUMKA or at least Ba'athists.

kys

Hmm…

What game is this?
for what purpose?

Fugg, serves me right for not reading the whole thread.

Haha oh wow, next you'll tell me Greeks are white. Your whole area is shitskin central.

TURKS

ARE

WHITE

AND

BASED

What mods should a new CK 2 player use? Also why is it that Stellaris is bare bones in comparison? It's the same guys right?

Nah, Paradox laid off all the employees that worked on ck2 except for Johan in 2015.

well shit. I was looking forward to stellaris actually being finished

I recommend you to play vanilla first to get used to controls/understand how the game works, and then it's up to you; from what I have seen, the most popular mods seem to be the 'total overhaul' ones, like Elder Kings (Elder Scrolls), Geheimnisnacht (Warhammer Fantasy), Game of Thrones mod etc.

...

...

Some user posted all Geheimnisnacht mod versions on /gsg/, try looking there.

Greeks are white and christian you subhuman slav

...

Nice try,Ahmed.

Thanks user. After half an hour of searching I got it though but it's appreciated

...

...

What the fuck did you do to piss off muzzies this much?

Fuck the Poles.

Why the hell can't I use paratroopers in Darkest Hour? I've loaded them onto transport planes and clicking a province only allows me air superiority mission. I can't even rebase somewhere else.

All units are in supply, they're organization is maxed out I can't think of no more.

There's a tech that unlocks the mission. Do you have that researched?

I'm sure I had it, because now I'm able to do it. It's strange. I've looked in the manual and it made no specific mention of the tech required.

...

Are they actually paratroopers and not regular soldiers? Do you have maximum organization

What's the deal with the +construction cost for constructing buildings in valuable provinces in M&T? I don't really understand how the new income system works, but is it worth spending a thousand ducats to upgrade to Town Hall because your capital has +500% construction cost from wealth?

The theory is that you should have a smaller amount of developed cities, pretty much one you properly invest in per region, and the rest of your state should be essentailly rural.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but provinces have a carrying capacity and urban saturation that seems to set a population peak no matter your investment. As far as I understand it, you should look around for strong cities, or bases for them with natural trade modifiers, at game start and blob there.

Here's the thing: I can stack -50% construction cost from ideas.

On weak provinces, that means I can spam out basic town hall stuff at 75/112 ducats a province.

On my capital, it costs about 6000 ducats for the level 6 town hall (because I have 450% construction cost after 500% base -50% from ideas). So it doesn't seem worth putting a single level 6 in my capital when I could upgrade around 30 provinces with both the level 0 and level 1 upgrades.

Also: I'm at over 90% saturation even at level 2 upgraded town hall. Do those upgrades increase saturation, or what? Do I build stuff that increases rural wealth then wait for farms to upgrade?

fuck them double dubs, and by that I mean check em

Why is this guy such an autistic cuck?

Is it because he's German?

Messed around a bit to find stuff out, here's the TL;DR:

Only real reason to create a super city is for universities to unlock continent-level which lets you import institutions and discover your own. For this you want pure population since Upper Class is 5% of your total. Ideally you'll hit at least 100 population.

Otherwise, you want to decentralize quite a bit. What matters the most is the primary trade good, which is very counterintuitive because the best place to make profitable cities (with high trade goods like Dye/Sugar/Pepper) is the opposite of the best place to make huge cities (trade goods like Rice/Wheat). This means most major cities like Paris and London are only good for centers of learning. It makes no sense at all that in a city like Paris with 1M urban pops that they are all producing grain, but they are.

On top of this, you don't really want much of the Town Development line. The Workshop line is your main limit, because pops beyond a certain number produce 1/4th as much. At least until you unlock manufactories/factories, at that point spam super cities away.

There's still SOME advantage of big cities early since they can produce useful secondary goods, which only show up as trade (therefore you need to dominate trade to get them), but for the most part your income on cities come from the workshop and base trade goods of the province.

That's god damned impressive. Impressive for all the wrong reasons, but impressive.

How do I get a foothold on England? Right now it's january and everything is frozen but how much difference witll the summer make? I can't bomb their provinces they're stacked with AA and fighters, I only have 6 amphibious units and they're navy is better than mine. This is fucking rage inducing, I managed to do it the first time I played.

Wait until they do something completely incomprehensible as they always goddamn motherfucking do in every single goddamn game I play.

Land paratroopers in Hull and then offload troops there. That's how I always do it.

either rely on lucky and hope they left one of their ports poorly defended or use paratroopers. Alternatively, you can bombard the infrastructure of a port to shit so that the units there run out of supply, making a naval invasion easier. In any case, it's 1941 – you're running out of time. Be prepared for USSR to attack this year

...

Wut? I'm not complaining because fuck them (I should just do a full deus vult at some point) but what the hell policy is making this happen?

Displacement purging option, or you have free pop migration and there's another nation that has open borders.

LA

PLATA

whats this game
i must see it.

Hi Mexico.

destroying the royal navy is fully optional, though. The AI is so retarded with navy that it's hardly a problem – I usually just cunch all the ships I have left into several navies and have them escort the transports. The AI is usually too scared to throw anything against them.

I've sort of figured this all out I'm just under-equipped it seems. I lost 4 units of paratroopers, my navy isn't as good as theirs and building ships takes 2-3 years.

My planes can't do any damage they have around 6 AA in those provinces. The least defeneded is cardiff but a simple division of 4 marines doesn't cut it, they send more troops.

I've figured it out it's just I'm unde-equipped I lost my paratroopers.

Such as? I can't beat their navy with my outdated ships.

Funny, but is reformation currently possible or is this a bug/oversight with the beta?

Amusingly I'm still pretty much keeping up in tech anyway. Mil tech 26 to Ottomans 28. And I'm sitting with +120% institutions penalty to tech.

AI seems to really screw itself with the Estates/Corruption. I've found that the best way to handle them is to simply grind them into pulp, revoking everything you can.

Should I do it?

DO IT

how do you fail with paratroopers? Just take one province with a port and immediately land 50+ divisions. If that doesn't work, you probably ran out of convoys, so your units are out of supply, in which case build more you stupid nigger – it's cheap and quick

Nonsense. Estates are free mana, good generals, and money. If you don't make them love you, you're gimping yourself out of all that shit

Are you talking about MEIOU&Taxes? Estates with privileges granted give constant +corruption and large penalties to your income and everything else.

Last time I played with estates was pre-RoM, so maybe they changed it.

Paratroopers take a long time to build.

that's why you build them in advance. You only need one anyway - just to quickly cap a port and immediately afterwards ejaculate half of Germany's army there. Allies stop being any kind of threat afterwards – Britain lost practically all of its IC and nobody else really threatens you. Not even USA if you take Iceland and leave a few troops defending the port

They did it, the absolute madmen. Next CK2 DLC will add Tibet.

This is actually pretty fucking cool.

Wasn't this game supposed to be about medieval europe or something?

Haven't you heard about the Tibetan Crusaders?

I bet they'll add China eventually

Were the provinces in your picture already added or is that part of the next DLC you're talking about?=

part of the next DLC

I guess it is better than endlessly buffing the Ottomans?

get out

Argentina you uncultured faggot

this is CK2 so almost no Otto. Not even any china modernization since the game ends in 15th century.

What's the difference?

why is this allowed?

What's the problem? Islam has always been a part of europe.

BELIEVABLE WORLDS

did you turn off diplo range or what?
I thought paradox actually managed to fix that with an option in the game rules.

I'm getting burnt out by Vicky 2. What should I play instead?

HoI4 with the most recently released mod you can find on Reddit. Make sure to tell us how it goes.

I did not. I also had a muslim preacher come to my court in Bohemia all the way from Umayyads in Spain, trying to convert me, which is I guess what happened in Saxony

A North-African sultan somehow got hold of a bunch of land in the Persian region.

probably inherited it

...

Play as Haesteinn of Nantes in the Old Gods start, he is located in the Briton region, he's fucking overpowered, he has the quick trait, already has a heir and a wife and since you're a viking you can declare war on pretty much everyone, if you're afraid of revolts you can just convert to the local culture of your capital.

The best option for beginners in my opinion would be the Jorviks (also in the Old Gods start), you do immediately have to fight a war at the start of the game but you've got a huge fucking army so that's a piece of cake. Once you win the war you can just raid all the Irish minors and then declare war on them once they barely have any men left.

It's not 2017 fam, you can't get away with that kind of stuff.

I don't want to make a new thread for this, so have a free bump I guess.

What's up with Stellaris? Why is this such a boring piece of shit? Someone please confirm that the AI cheats and gets faster tech\more resources because I'm at a loss for explaining some of the crap I keep seeing.

I've been trying for a few days to just go Hivemind\Devouring Swarm and eat the world but early game is fucking bullshit. Everytime I meet anyone, he already has double the fleet size and power with tech I haven't researched yet and the economy to sustain it.
I'd chalk it up with being bad at the game but here's a funny story:

We were both at exactly 1 system each (and I couldn't expand because he'd blown my colony before I had a station up) and yet his army grew far faster than mine dine. How the fuck is that possible when I already had built everything possible including mines for resources on my own system?
This is fucking ridiculous since it happens consistently with every game I make. Some I even see a motherfucker expanding to 5-6 systems while I'm focusing on 3 and despite that, he will still have a larger, more powerfull fleet and no economic issues to dampen it!

And worst of all, why oh why is the game so boring? I've lost hours just watching the Crystals going up and spamming more Corvetters, idling and waiting for some more Crystals with nothing to do but give new orders to the science vessel (because automated exploration is tech, of course) It's like there's nothing else to do except manually assembling your stack of doom, every month clicking some more for a repetitive task.

Fuck this shit, I'm off back to Endless Legend\Endless Space, dunno why Paradox could do anything different than Incestual Kebab Removal Simulators.

You suck hard tbh.

Game is still shit though, don't bother trying to git gud.

I was playing the Star Trek total conversion mod as the Klingons. Bretty okay, more content than the base game itself tbqph fam

The game is boring as fuck and it's also incredibly easy thanks to the AI being utterly retarded. How the fuck are you losing to it? Are you bottlenecked by minerals, energy, or by naval capacity? Also if the AI started shiting out destroyers before you did despite focusing on warfare, you obviously didn't focus on it right else you'd have destroyers really soon. Are you researching every military tech that comes by? There are parallel research trees for various types of weaponry. If you research all at once, you will fall behind.

Minerals and Naval capacity mostly, energy is never really a problem unless I overcap the fleet. I get every mine set up and upgraded to crank out as much mineral as possible and build till the NC cap. Even then, I'll still find fleets twice the size of mine with twice the power, not to mention that it takes ages to replenish my fleet when it's lost.

I have tried to expand more before in order to have a better supporting economy for my army, but that usually means playing catchup later, cranking a fleet as fast as possible as I'm being invaded, something that actually works but eventually I'll end up running into the same problem anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't being a specialist in one type of weapon\defense a mistake? That you'd actually get better ships by using all types of weapons and a combination of shields and armor instead of just one type?

AI cheats I guess but it also uses simple patterns so you can fuck it up every time if you look up faq. But it doesn't matter because it's really shit game and waste of time.

So it's that kinda game, uh? Well fuck that, back to being Necrophage. At least with Endless Legend I knew where I fucked up when I lost and I could improve on it without resorting to external guides.

Are you colonizing planets? You should probably go WIDE as a devouring swarm, that'll guarantee you have more minerals and naval capacity than your opponents, but of course your tech will suck because of it. Not that it matters, since tech sucks as an advantage measurer anyway, advantage in numbers trumps tech all day, everyday. Abuse frontier outposts on strategic resources and clusters of systems with 15 minerals / 8 energy and this kind of shit, they'll basically upkeep themselves and all you gotta pay is the influence, which you'll get literally for free because you're a Hive Mind.
Oh, and also, did you start your game with any AI having advanced starts?
Remember, naked corvettes are the best ship in the game if you know what you're doing.

Sure, but that's for mid and late game. Early game, it's much better to get ahead with one weapon that packs a big punch

use edicts to boost your mineral production, use research to raise naval cap. And above all, do what said and build wide

You'd have to be braindead to need one. Really, user, one of the game's big faults is that it's extremely easy to the point of offering no challenge whatsoever. It baffles me that you're having such difficulties with it.

See, this is the problem then I was expecting tech to be a game changer and something I'd have to worry about as fast as possible since that's usually how it goes in most 4X where tech greatly expands your abilities and power. I was focusing more on tech hoping to expand later on top of someone else, but if tech really doesn't do that much compared to moar planets, then that explains my problem.

Military tech actually has negative returns in stellaris. The most economically efficient military is as many shieldless T1 corvettes you can spam. Literally the only reason to upgrade them is if you want to click less or your PC is lagging due to having too many ships around.

do we have a link fo ck2 plus all dlc? im not going to pay 250 buck to those cucks

Just check igg or public trackers; it's not hard to find

There's literally a link in the OP you dumdum

how accurate is this?

Do you want a serious reply or a meme one?

But the link have only mods…what happen to the mega link?

I'm a technosaurus user

you are pic related?

Come to infinity.moe for more /gsg/ autism

La Plata is white and based

This is kinda cool.

Horrifying. Everyone knows the Mongols and Finns were allies against the roundeye devils.

THIRD ROME

WHEN IS MEIOU 2.0 COMING OUT
I want my American Diplo Pope run nao.
anybody has a download link for the beta?

Europeans were the first to sail around the world my negro.

...

Some Vojislavljevic dudes ruled before him, it's name changed to SRPSKO-RMSKO CRTSVO or someshit.
Also, should I do it? I added caucasian pagans into my game, so I was kinda planning to become a reformed caucasian pagan, but being an ARYAN kike sounds silly too.

I think I should upload my HIP edits for CK2 since I've added a lot of shit.

...

My greatest time in CK2 was trying to survive as the only cathar count of the world in the middle of England during the 700s start. I managed to grab a couple duchies before the vikings and the fucking karlings came along to fuck my shit up.

Might as well BE the kikes instead of their most useful servants.

means Serbian-Roman Empire. You are retarded for playing with the "authentic" names in the first place.

Fuck off Holla Forumseddit.

Where can I find mods for CK2? All I've used in the past has been Nexus for little things here and there on other games, now need to look elswhere because Nexus' CK2 library is very small

Steam workshop and the paradox forums, are where most are. Bit of a pain acquiring mods from them with a pirated copy, though.

Paradox Forums for larger, better mods, Steam workshop for smaller mods.

Ah shit, that's where I'm at, are there sorta streamlined ways to get mods for pirated copies? I've gotten some of the ones on the Nexus to work but only from manual downloads

All you really need to do is to acquire the download link for the big overhaul mods which are posted on the Paradox forums. As far as I'm aware, all of the actual download locations for the mods are on mediafire or some other typical file hosting site.

The best mods you can get with a pirated copy are:
-When the World Stopped Making Sense (not up to date with current ck2 version but mod author is working on it)
-A Game of Thrones
-Elder Kings (Elder Scrolls mod)

I found Rise of Islam, any good?

Never played and looking at the mod page it doesn't seem up to date

Edit: Elder Kings doesn't seem up to date either.

For anyone playing M&T, protip I figured out after going through files:

Loot equation is kind of fucked up. Actual loot you get is:

Loot_base = 1.05^(loot_modifier_bonus / 5)
Loot_damage = (loot_base +1 ) / 2
Loot_total = loot_base * loot_damage

This is an exponential scaling.
With the lowest looting option you'll get about 55% loot and cause around 80% damage.

With the highest loot option, you'll get about 180% loot for 125% damage.

With highest loot option and merc ideas, you'll get around 250% loot for 140% damage.

With that plus horde ideas, you'll get 400% loot for 170% damage. It's completely fucking insane, hordes will be looting every province for hundreds of ducats even on shitty ones and thousands on anything built up.

Where did you get that

mediafire.com/file/9bpv3lg9jl597dm/M&T_v1.99.01.7z
Nevermind.

do you guys talk about Distant Worlds?

In the same vein as this question, where can I find the latest CKII+ mod (4.06) for current CKII?
CKII isn't really worth playing without it.

good question, the plus mod is still the most relevant right?
last I used, had to download both from the Paradox forums

notthebees.gif

You all fucking suck at GSG. Check me out, faggots.

Speaking of CKII plus… In my game, Sunni hit 0.0 moral authority and the Jews stopped hiding and took over Iraq. They will never take Jerusalem!

Reported to Johan for that flag. Enjoy internet prison.

why did they do this? It was some shitty frozen provinces in Canada and they had better choices in the Caribbean and south/central America.

git gud

Don't attack anyone until you are sure your fleet strength will be enough to destroy their space station. Also the force limits are more of a suggestion than anything else; if you're going to attack someone is better to create as many ships as you can support, regardless of the force limit. The game is shit anyway, don't bother.

Step it up, freedom-hating fucknugget.

Every once in a while, I like to play ISOT scenarios like that. Fun as fuck.

Because of the immense randomization that goes on. There's no concrete history or anything like that. No fixed scenario to play in. No major distinct races that are always present by default with a real story.

Being able to play a custom race isn't bad but there should be a set galaxy start with premade races, existing empires and relations, etc, that is the same every time, at least broadly speaking. Something that can actually have lore built into it so there's actual meaning. We care about Grand Strategy because it has existing history to get engaged in. We can care about 4X like SMAC and even SINS because they have premade factions with actual character, history, motivation, and so on, that gives us something to be invested in. Even if SINS is giving a set of random galaxies, at least it has some general backstory and the races present have distinct details that are present every game.

Stellaris is just too randomized to really care about. Lore matters. Worldbuilding matters. It makes the player invested in the game beyond just playing through to get a victory screen once, beating the game as it were, and moving on.

fuug. im looking for a mod for hoi 4 called "Deutschland Erwache" but i can only find it on steam workshop. Problem is i have a pirated copy cause im not giving those jews 40€. please someone help

For now stop playing a shitty baby game.

fuug yourself out of here

What the fuck? Why is it always Saxony?

Wut? What mod is that and why did it decide to invent a nonexistent culture?

So I've just become a Republic EU in NWO.
How do I go about becoming dictatorial?

Moravia is the slav part of Bohemia proper.

I once saw them convert to Zoroastrianism. The most hilarious one was when the Mande 'converted' (as in a assload of Jewish courtiers flooded over everyone in court) to Judaism and enslaved West Africa. Did Paradox increase Missionary chances after a bunch of autists complained or something?

Where can I find a mandate of heaven torrent?

Moravia was the rival of Bohemia for supremacy as a seat of power for quite a while early on. There are regional differences for sure, like between Southern England and northern England, even though nominally they're the same people.

Bohemia, the region, isn't the Czech republic, like Holland isn't the Netherlands. And they're both Slavic, dingus.

Yeah, in early middle ages, not in the timespan of EU4.
They're minimal. Slang and a few local traditions regarding wine that differ from town to town – at that rate, you could make every single province in the game have a different culture.

wooooow
why the fuck aren't there male concubine options

I'm 99% sure that is Voltaire's nightmare, no idea how AMERICA got in there.

REALISTIC WORLDS

Is M&T 2.0 fun? How would a pirate get their hands in it if you need forum access to download?

Alright /gsg/, I want to RP in EU4 as a reawakened ARYAN kingdom next to the Black sea. I'll be a Custom nation opm with decent-tier ideas. Any mod recommendations?

someone give me fun ck2 mods, i'm bored of crusader period europe
i've played the avatar/GOT/TES mods
any other overhauls?
i kind of wanted either the whole planet, or an earlier time beriod but both of those don't seem to exist

SPQR RWDS.EXE
Everything worked better than expected.

Look up "After the End"
Not sure how up to date it is now.

Post screenshot.

I'm not saying they're distinct enough to qualify, but they're not "nonexistant". I think it's just the Paradox tendency to insert potential breakaway groups into everything.

I really can't find MoH torrent, help.

ayy, a friend and I have been playing that mod recently. shit's good, I made a modest Texan Empire my last campaign.

It is up to date:
mediafire.com/file/h7m38gkyj2p0hv0/After the End 0.9.zip

The invasions listed in the game rules didn't happen, though – are they supposed to only happen in some playthroughs, or is there a bug?

also if anybody wants any CK2 mods just ask

They can't, because it doesn't exist, as my quick google search taught me. But I also got the beta's easy to find link.

I think I created the ultimate badass. Even the game characters seem to think so since almost nobody ever dares fighting him – they always flee the battle, racking up massive morale debuffs and thus losing even when outnumbering me and having better troops. I've conquered two kingdoms through single county conquests with nothing but a bunch of angry tribal slavs led by a hunchbacked murder machine.

this game looks slick. What's the name?

superpower 2, it's shit

Literally Ephialtes' wet dream

motto of the Carolingians

Its not that bad. The only real problem is that all the countries play the exact same which is kinda annoying.

That, and it's too easy to turn a friendly nation into a rogue state and make everyone okay with you annexing it. And interior politics lack any depth.

Yep, I'm old and busy with work so can't get my techno skills up to date thats why the mega was perfect, get in download, mod, play

Tell us how he dies.

He dies a natural death at the ripe old age of 82, peacefully, in the middle of a campaign against Byzantium. A year and a half before he does that, however, he finds a pretty girl, takes her as a concubine, and has a son (the new heir) with an attractive trait and a calm voice trait with good martial score, for a kid. He also founds an empire 4 years before his death and accumulates over 5k piety and 7k prestige, most of it from raiding neighbouring realms.

All around 10/10 character, would hunchback again

This is why I love CK.
The personal stories are the best.
I remember my first CK2 game ever with Catalonya/Aragon/whatever.
>fat, handsome,god-tier diplo score and lustful
>seek out lusty women from all round Europe , Africa and ME that I pump and dump when they become infertile
>very fruitful after 6 or 7 wives 30 kids altogether of all colours
>2nd genious horny wife was a kebab from NA and gave me like 3 kids and a berber heir after 3 or 4 of my sons die for one cause or another
I executed most of my kebab and coal kids and kept the genious/strong/quick ones from the nordic dames.

shit, sorry for the typos.
writing quickly at work so nobody notices

...

Legacy of the Karlings. It'll balkanise eventually, when one of those fucksticks has enough kids for gavelkind to kick into effect.

...

shit, didn't mean to quote

Personal stories really are the best part.
I had to abandon the playthrough after that. Italy didn't matter anymore without the brothers.

That's kinda how the Middle East works, really.

Just your average League war tbh

This is pretty true. Multiparty democracies should not give you a game over if you get voted out. Are there any better modern gsgs?

Same. Although it later leads to the dynasty tree becoming a clusterfuck with hundreds of characters. If you play pagan (or marry every single daughter matrillineary), the fuckers multiply at an exponential rate – literally hundreds of dynasty members alive and vying for titles at any given moment. And then they get claims on each other's titles and the entire realm gets peppered by mini vassal wars

That's part of the appeal for me. I like having the internal strife to manage and balance. Paradox games usually have a poor reflection of internal stability, but inter-dynastic vassal struggles in CK2 are top notch

You ain't white sandnegro

They're all shit, pretty much. Geopolitical Simulator is playable if you're a policy whore and can stand Eversim's kikery, but the only one that had any hope was East vs West.

Started a new playthrough in CK2+ and found quite a challenge. The only celtic religion ruler in the game, stuck on a shitty island but with no ship tech, count so he can't generate tech points, no trade route to make money, tribal, and with a shit-tier holding that only has the one additional slot, and the ruler has shit stats. I'm frankly at my wits end of what to do with this situation – the biggest porblem is that I literally cannot leave the island I'm on. Since everyone has agnatic succession, I can't marry my way to more useful lands either. Also, I know from my previous playthroughs that once the viking age starts, they head straight there to conquer it.

just stick your spymaster in a county with higher tech so you get the tech points event and hope its military ones, once you got enough you can just buy the ship tech

I started a game of HIP as a russian theologist in Perm, surrounded by urgalic shitters with the only 4 plot tile in the entire region. Concept is that he's some pagan prophet that led a bunch of idiots into the woods and just didn't stop till he hut the urals. So far so good, gone through about 3 rulers (one guy died in combat like 4 years in) and making steady progress, my capital is making decent money and I'm getting ready to try and steamroll my way all the way towards estonia so I can reform the finnic pagan religion

How about you marry some daughters off to some powerful counts/dukes, find some neighbors of theirs they don't like, perhaps even with ship building. Then fabricate a claim if necessary, declare war, call your ally in and let him win the war, and you enjoy your new province?

Who the fuck thought it was a smart idea to put 155k armies to ass-rape everyone's shit and then either end the game or create a power vacuum?

I'll try doing both of those, thanks

Ahaha, now I'm bleeding prestige for being at peace for too long!

A merchant from Hindustan apparently decided to arrive in my shitland for whatever reason and left behind a bedouin eunuch. I made him my marshal since despite having no balls, he was still more of a warrior than the inbred fucktards that I rule over, after which he immediately did the "experiment" event that landed me 50 research points in military. now I just need for it to fire once more and maybe I'll have a shot at this

One of the few courtiers on my tiny island just cucked me. This playthrough is suffering.

Wew

it werked – through relying on random events and spymaster stealing tech, I managed to make a few galleys after several decades and promptly conquered Iceland

...

That should have played into it.

He was a good swimmer

Why are there no Hearts of Iron 3 mods in the OP? Does HoI3 really have no good mods?

No space. And there are like two popular mods anyway, HPP and ICE.

GAS THE KIKES
RACE WAR NOW

Is there a mod that lets me commit genocide?

There's also the WWI mod, that was fun.

That mod for Victoria II.

...

Blobbing should be punishable by death

You're supposed to blob in HoI.

Any good mods for Victoria 2 that spices up the gameplay, more accurate history, and shit?

Pop of darness

who /bombermod/ here?

What's that?

Thanks mate, I got one hell of a playthrough ahead of me.

Is the Putin mod in the mega the latest version?

Yes, as it is not being made any more after getting nuked by Paradox. Also in case you don't know, it is just a new name for the modern mod.

What the fuck

I'm more interested in what the hell happened with the byzantines.

r8

Had one too many revolts and the title disintegrated as per CK2+ mechanics. Someone reformed it a few months later, but can't seem to get his old vassals back

So how do I fix this shitty stuttering in Darkest Hour Hearts of Iron

...

ottomans are alleid to france and ming, i can probably beat their forces but 50% of my income comes from my colonies, i have high value colonies but no troops to protect them, france is very powerfull in america and ottomans are very powerfull in africa they threaten my gold ivory and slave trade

You win this time camp fever

I need help, how exactly do I pirate E.U. IV on Linux? I see multiple versions, and the one I went with is just a tar in an .iso file. It just unpacks into a typical Steam folder. I don't really know what to do with it at this point, since I can't get either executable to run.

Do the Crusader Kings II DLCs after horse lords add anything that is actually fun?

is there a bash file somewhere? that is probably the installer

or post pics of the folders, the .iso root folder & the files inside the .tar file

I had the exact same thing happen to me, fucking Cyprus got into an endless loop of camp fever that kept going on. Played through 200+ years and each time I checked, Cyprus still had that camp fever epidemic going on.
I also played with HIP, could it be a bug? I mean it only happened once, I've had other playthroughs ever since and Cyprus' always been fine and dandy.

The .iso only has the tar, and a blank folder named only with a period that doesn't show up in contents when I mount the .iso, but shows up when I open it as an archive.

The root of the folder in the tar has nothing I haven't tried.

God awful

Idk man probably someone was such a fool that he uploaded the windows version and expected you to run it using wine, then slapped in "linux version" for the sake of it.

Oh it's the Linux version, it has a start.sh.

It just doesn't run even when I use chmod +X

It tries to search out ./eu4 but there's nothing there but some item called eu4 that won't start.

I just assumed that's because it's the internal steam folder and not a correct installation setup .sh file like one off of GOG.

I don't even get errors, just can't find ./eu4

I don't understand the Aztec invasion. They never even had contact with Europeans (save for the vikings discovered America first meme), let alone conquered half of Europe. It's the "let's see how you ebul europeans like it when you get invaded" multi-culty garbage. I don't mind the extra difficulty, but make it balanced.

It's just fantasy, you don't have to take it seriously. I've played a few games with sunset invasion, it's pretty fun.

...

Stop getting so triggered about completely optional, tongue-in-cheek content.

...

Aztecs were in Mexico, not Canada, you faggot.
For someone freaking out over "muh inconsistencies" in a game about alternative history, that was stupid to say.

First time I see AI reform a religion, and it does it with fucking Zunbils.

What's the point?

Playing pagans.

Yes, putting unrelated shit into the game in a very "how does it feel" tone is pretty stupid, isn't it?

I have every right to voice my autism.

That's why I said America. As in, the continent America.
No I'm angry that they put this in the game and thought it wouldn't break the balance. The fact that they're Aztecs is just icing on the cake, same goes for the mongols. In both historical and random mode, you're getting fucked.

You're going to have to explain that one

Aztecs are a shitty meme from Paradox and every self-respecting autist disables them. But what's that about mongols?

why does the AI do this shit???
all the times i have restarted the fuggin mudslimes expand like bloating corpses!

FUCK YOU CUCK'A'DOX

Does that apply to AI as well, because that could be your problem.
Also why would you remove demesne and vassal limits, assuming that's what the X means?

vassals are like a plauge for me, plus i can't do shite with gavelkind succession laws, so - i own all the lands, do machinations till i get feudalism and change to elective succession law.

not sure about the AI getting the same and X means no limit. didn't you check the rules you can set before start of the game?

Yeah I checked the rules but anything that roughly translated to "Hey kid wanna totally defy history" I ignored entirely, so I wasnt even aware that was an option.
You should try dealing with vassals and gavelkind more. Makes reforming much more rewarding and provides an extra layer of depth to internal politics.

Is this gonna unfuck the HoI4 AI?

will adding sugar sprinkles to poop make it better?

welp here is hoping at least Modders can make use of the new features.

Kaiserreich HoI4 is pretty good already.

I don't care if they're mongols, aztecs, they could be aboriginals for all I care. You cannot be serious and expect me to fight off 100k armies with commanders that have 20+ in martial. The only time I have avoided a brutal skullfucking is when I played as kangz.

You should be able to combat the Mongols if you're starting in 1066. If you're starting earlier then God help you if you can't annihilate them after 350+ years of expanding and building.

seems the rules apply to the AI also

literally git gud. Mongols aren't that difficult - they get assfucked after every succession, andi f all else fails, just swear fealty to them or something

Well there's your problem. Abbasids usually stick around way past their prime for me but never hyperblob like what you're experiencing. Muslim successions aren't the chaotic fracturing events they used to be, but giant Muslim realms still have real potential to fracture or at least shift dynasties after brutal decadence revolts. If one leader can have all the land, that makes decadence virtually impossible since it's trivial to make a non landowning dynasty member go back on his decadence.

i would love to play that mod, unfortunatly i do nto have the game

what is wrong with all of those?

...

Seems dumb to not be able to fight a war to end a PU, like what actually happened with France and Spain in reality.

How the fuck did you do that

He was probably insane and got an event to marry the horse just like the one to make your horse your chancellor.

Turning off demense limit is kind of ridiculous user,

Leif Erikkson landed in Newfoundland in 998 AD and made a few trips later all the way down to PEI. 10,000 years before that, the original Caucasian inhabitants of the Americas packed up and left as the global sea level rose. The Americoid race that crossed beringa picked up the pieces of what they'd built. It's not a meme.

Kill yourself, kike. No one is falling for your shit.

And you expected what, exactly?

Alternate history does not mean 'magically gets abilities they could never physically have had', dipshit.

It's all anti-white propaganda.

Solid point

When are we getting a torrent for eu4 1.21?

I don't know about a torrent, but the update is right there for download. Not that I understand why you would want to fucking play it.

pls reply

KR IS A DH MOD, fucking redditors

Does anyone have a specific rip for EU4 Linux they liked? I don't know which to pick.

Those arent the space jews

confirmed shit

HOW DO I STOP THE JACOBINS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

YOU DON'T

JACOBINS SATAN CONFIRMED
