Lately QP and Arcade Qs are pretty long, but that may be an individual case, the more you play the more your MMR gets plagued with stats affecting who you get paired with.

There are plenty of reasons to criticize Overwatch, but these aren't it. Especially when you can just play Arcade.

This was my Arcade experience. People still take "Fun" mode way too fucking serious, including the devs.

I played it on a friend's acct, for multiple hours. No matter what, the games were always shitty. Glad I never fell for the meme, since I don't need to shill it.

I don't think it'd be talked about period if nobody found anything redeemable about the game, and these threads are tumorous enough on account of self-appointed board guardians without the thread being entirely those people. Tumblr screencaps and a handful of (informative) posts from days gone by don't prove "nobody likes this game actually".

I've seen some of those posts too and again I find an alarming similarity with the Undertale threads where one or two people would do outlandishly faggoty things and then everybody points to that as a reason why the threads should be banned because clearly that is the only thing going on.

I'd look at the more brainless posts among those and check for signs they're a false flag; chiefly if they can't actually name anything about the game in particulars, or if they vanish the very second they're asked about particulars. Same here. OW really got really stale and devs don't seem to know what to do about it looking at trash mode like Insurection. How much time they wasted on creating assets for something so repetitive.

Their focus seems to be on cosmetics, mind you, limited time cosmetics, the only way they get all that extra money is from smurf accounts and loot boxes, nobody is buying any more regular boxes since the summer games, they basically made their consumers aware that buying boxes was a major waste unless you wanted to gamble on the limited time event stuff, so now every new cosmetic, including lore based is not permanent.

hots actually added to the genre its a part of though. with multiple maps, blind quickmatch and supports that arent mere ward mules it takes away a lot of the innate staleness of aos clones.

while in overwatch, matches play out more or less similarly to the last one. maybe after it builds up content for a while it wont get stale so quickly. more classes with overlapping roles, and better maps with tweaks to the old maps. but in the meantime i dont have much to talk about.

Except most heroes in OW that "overlap" tend to get replaced by their "stronger" variants, McCree is neglected in place of Soldier, Reaper is ignored in favor of Hog, Orisa was made as an alternative to Rein despite not having the same flexibility, not to mention they decided to nerf her already.

reaper has problems that have nothing to do with roadhog, hes just another man with a shotgun who happens to fill a better niche. i think even if roadhog werent around you wouldnt see that much of reaper due to how his design fits in with everything else in the game, not just the other characters and himself although thats definitely a thing, i mean things like map design and the 6v6 aspect are working against him too.

They are "buffing" her barrier cooldown so it comes out more often but they are nerfing her base damage so she is way less threatening, her damage was not exactly great and now it will be worse, apparently you can't be a tank and have high mid range damage unless you are Roadhog.

thats awful, completely awful. i expected you to say the gravity ball cooldown or ult duration. not that i think she needs a nerf.
i remember at least one instance where a ptr change was dropped before going live though, so heres hoping.

i have nothing against chokepoints, its just that the flanking opportunites that exist are mostly terrible.
a guy in that thread makes a joke about dustbowl, but even that had plenty of features for both defenders and attackers to find use for and keep eachother guessing.

Precisely, Pharah is being a nightmare in all levels of play recently, she got kind of too powerful when she got her airtime buff, but now that some heroes have been changed or reworked is way worse, Reaper is yet another victim.

Still, nobody was complaining about her damage, hell, when D.Va was UP it wasn't because she needed 100 extra HP, she always had a critical box the size of Jupiter and horrible movement speed while firing, then Geoff and Jeff decide to buff her with 2-3 things at the same time and then they praise themselves as heroes because D.Va was their "low point" in the balancing thing.

The problem is, even the flank routes in OW lead to chokepoints, if you can't fly or climb walls you are not going to see anything but chokepoints most of the time.
