Apparently something like, being able to wield a bit of your Avatar's power as a normal weapon in the game. Drivers are trained to be used to seeing other cars on the road, and sometimes they won't even notice a bike unless it's got a loud-ass exhaust, which is the main reason they're so loud. It's a safety precaution. My wreck was a car not noticing me and merging, so point & case.
I also firmly believe that you should always be a little scared of your bike, or at least respect it. The moment you get too comfortable leaning on the throttle or treat every ride like just another day, you're more susceptible to bad stuff since you're not on your guard or keeping a constant lookout.

I was two days from being hired on at a new place. The wreck kinda fucked that up for me, and since I was out of work I had to go stay with family while I healed up.

Doing what I can. Looking around for a private seller to find a decent enough car that'll get me from A to B reliably, but the cost difference is staggering. One of the main reasons I rode in the first place was cost efficiency.
I'll probably get another bike eventually, but after I move to a place with less population on the roads to worry about. More rural. City living is tedious anyway.
