Being honest, no. People use the emulation excuse, but you get far better value buying a 500-600$ (maybe even cheaper) pc, a ps2 and a wii that buying a 800$ pc and relying on emulation.

Will you be playing modern games? If so, then yes.
If not, average specs should still be enough to emulate some games with enough power to run games a few years old.
Otherwise just get a second hand PS2/Wii to softmod and play classics on those.
