Don't forget Izayoi. I kinda feel like a bit of an idiot for dropping her in CF considering she's like the best character in the game but Rachel is way more fun to play for me. I'll still be called a tier whore since Rachel is great in CF but she's had a bad run since CT that people forget.

It's mostly because Hibari is really cute and innocent. She'd naturally be shielded from horrific scenarios by her lifestyle and the people around her which means indulging in those horrible things with her are more intimate. Being the cause of her pain and ultimate death is bonding as her misery is directly tied to my actions with her. I get to see her agony and death myself, something she can't show to someone else. Seeing her fear and hatred is cute and again it's a side rarely seeen which makes it special.

It was mostly spacing and frametraps. Bullet doesn't really have crazy mixups, just the classic grappler stuff of are you going to hit a button or command grab. Though her big fatal counter button (6C I think it is?) I worked out was punishable really quickly which shut things down for him. I was getting fucked by some dash move being projectile invul but I worked out it was only projectile invul which saved my ass. Seems like a lot of her stuff is good situationally but really punishable. I can understand why she's low tier since Tager fills that grappler role much better since he isn't diluted.

Wasn't Izayoi really shit in CP? What makes her so great now? And I could of sworn that Rachel was low tier now, or at least nerfed when compared to how she was in previous games

Oh no Rachel is generally considered top 5 or top 3 in CF, Her damage output in the corner is insane and she can corner carry very easily. The changes to George XIII were a massive buff too since there's no more recharge now and he blocks projectiles. He can't be killed by moves that do less than 700 damage so you can't just do 2A to kill him. Her wind recharges faster now too so you can be a bit more liberal with it. She has a lot of good pressure in the corner and can setup really favourable oki with george and lotuses.
Izayoi was pretty good in CPEX but in CF her new moves are a lot more useful, rather than Noire Edge she has a bunch of air slashes and rather than that big multi hit fireball she had in gain art she now has a bunch of smaller projectiles that spread out as they go. Oh the change to her Trans-AM Super is amazing as it has invul on startup now so she basically has a second OD activation for 50 meter in Gain Art mode. Her mixup pressure has always been really good and her movement is great since you have normal air movement along with I-No dashes and teleports. Her damage output is quite high as well. Her reversal DP is quite good as well, has good hitbox that covers all around her really. Her buttons are good, she has good pressure, good movement, excellent high low mixup, excellent oki setups, great DP. It's really difficult to name a real flaw with her, theoretically it's needing stocks for Gain Art mode but OD can let her gain stocks for free with no risk.
The top tier in CF generally contains Izayoi, Carl, Arakune, Nine, Rachel. In some order. I think Amane is secretly top tier as well but needs to be worked out since he was buffed a lot in CF.
Hopefully I didn't forget anything in all that.

Oh yeah it kind of goes without saying since this has always be a key part of Rachel but her mixup with IOH j.5A is scary, a lot more so in CF since that mixup can lead to 50% or more in the corner from high or low.

Well the Caetus is pretty fast from start up to recovery, I remembered there's a patch were you take more damage from parrying iirc. There's also the Buckler, but I beat Sully using Horace's shield.

Finished Persona 5 the other day. Pretty solid, plot was a bit of a clusterfuck near the end, but it's easily my favorite of the modern Personas. Hopefully the bonus boss is decent, heard it's kind of weak compared to the previous ones.

I kind of miss the bare-hand parries. Caestus doesn't really fit with either of my characters, on top of it being too META for my tastes.

bruiser shaco is legitimately op. Tiamat->triforce->Lucidity boots+10% cdr. after those items you just build full tank. your boxes and your stealth both get on crazy low cooldowns and you have enough damage to kill champs as long as you dont die, which is easy when you're buiding tanky and have stealth on a 6ish second cd. Pink wards dont work on shaco anymore either

The mod I'm using makes stealth semi-viable which is nice since it also makes you die in two or three hits. Checkpoints are still annoying and I've gotten into the habit of walking through and clearing them each time since attempting to run them is suicidal.
It might sound like I'm shitting on it but honestly I'm having fun.

It depends on how well you know the game. If you have a good idea of the guns you like you'll have more diamonds to spend on manuals and upgrades which will gradually diminish the challenge.
All that still won't change that you'll go down fast in a fight but you can mitigate that by doing things at night. Grab Dylan's Realism Mod and die a lot until you figure things out

Guns/Unarmed/Repair are my main skills. I make money refurbishing weapons and killing street trash. I always manage to have very good karma despite killing/extorting everyone I don't like.
If you're talking mods, just the one that makes weapon mods a lot better for gameplay changes. I enjoyed New Vegas Bounties and A World of Pain for extra stuff to do.

Well you can kick people, so breaking their defenses is good.
For shield parrying, the point were your character raise his/her shield a little is were the parry point is, and he swipe or swing is the recovery.

If you tend to parry with shields, use small shields. They're viable for parries, find some weak enemies just to practice your timing.

While I understand that a Waifu can be helpful in some ways, it also can be detrimental in ways the waifuist either doesn't realize or does, but refuses to accept. You put all your hopes and desires into the relationship you are in, going through any and all mental hoops to make it work, while changing and/or ignoring things that go against what you think of her (or what you originally thought she was like) to suit your needs, even if you follow their canon to the letter. Not really how relationships work. It's too one sided and the moment something happens to the waifu's canon that makes it impossible to be in a relationship with them, what then? Some can handle it, some can't. It varies, but most of the time, if the change is too drastic, they end up leaving because there's nothing they can do to change it back to what they fell in love with. So it makes this kind of relationship not only one-sided for the most part, but also dependent on what the creator does as well. You could get cucked by the creator and not be able to do anything about it and the waifu they fell in love with never knowing what the waifuist has done for them.
